I don’t absolutely despise it. (Edit - I kinda do. But diff strokes for diff folks! I can kinda get through some Eric Andre, but just not my style. Spamming it as your entire online persona does seem on brand with his comedy imo)

Simply saying there’s a difference between organic entertainment and try hards. To be clear though I’m in the minority here, you can miss me with 95% of threads, home games, and meetups.

I finally organized everything and got it all up by the end of that year. I had quite a few duplicates, which I gave all away to other custom sample collectors here https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/55-dbs-custom-samples-interest.100130/

Around the same time I took photos of the collection by mold, but that quickly became outdated as I added a ton.

So now as we get ready to move again to the east coast this year, one small thing kept in mind when looking is, is there enough room in the basement/bonus room/whatever for 80-120 displays.

Currently have chips to fill around 70ish displays, and that is prob doable, but as it grows most places I've seen I'd prob run out of room eventually.

I have a couple that were $100s, most of those being either bidding wars from the old days or public/private charity fundraises.

I have a bunch that were completely free as well from various chippers, with two prolific chippers who kindly always send a sample over when they create new ones.

Paper napkin math - just say every row of chips is $25, making every display about $150 of samples. 60 cases, there's about $9k in samples on the walls guesstimate. Who knows, I may be wayyy overestimating, but in my head that seems a lot lower than my cost since I can come up with 10 samples that all cost me $200 -500 a piece.

edit - But right now I have a 19.64% chance of adding another fo free!
