Full House
This year I took an anniversary trip to Italy with my wife this year, celebrating a couple years of hard work at my current role and a desperate need to get out and explore a magical part of the world. While among the rolling hills of Tuscany, the ancient walls of Rome, and the wondrous seaside of the Amalfi coast, I of course was overcome with the need to create another chipset (like any good chipper does). Walking the halls of the Vatican, I was struck by a statue of Bacchus, the god of wine and partying.
The primary inspiration for the set is the Caesar's $5, which to me stands as the nicest looking $5 to ever hit the strip. To go along with that theme I'll be having these made on the Horsehead mold, and will aim to have the font in like.
Inlay currently in the works with the legendary J5. The chip colors/spots are more or less locked in. I'm waffling on the $25, I simply never find a CPC green $25 that I like, but the snapshot below is likely what I roll with.
Set theme: Bacchus, the Roman god of wine and partying. He is an offshoot of the Greek god Dionysus.
Inlays: Inspired by the simplicity and the mono- or dual-color scheme of casinos like MGM Grand and Caesars
Chips: Obviously not utilizing spot patterns or colors directly, but heavily inspired by some of my favorite Vegas chips over the years:
Cost: I will be aiming to get this order in before the annual price hike. I'll be collecting $25 per set for the initial payment, and depending on USPS prices when reshipping is ready, will collect likely around $6-8 for shipping (CONUS) when the order is in my hands and ready to be sent to you.
Timeline: This will be on the horsehead mold, which should run often "enough" at CPC. I'll be prepaying before the price hike, but order time will be dependent on when the inlay art is done in time for the next run.
Post below for dibs, and expect me to collect payment prior to Jan 1.
Bacchus Cardroom
Inlay here is my MSPaint mockup, but inherent to the look/feel I'm aiming for. Currently working with J5 on the actual.
