I collected basketball cards (mostly Shaquille O'neal) for a couple of years, beginning in 1992.
It's probably time I let them go. Obviously I could list them on eBay but I'm in Australia so I don't think its the best way to sell them to the US market.

I'm planning a trip to L.A. soon and I'd like to hear from anyone that can point me in the right direction.

Thanks
Paul

I remember buying upper deck, hoops and fluer in 92/93 onwards.. only if I kept all my Jordan cards.

Yeah I had some nice Jordan cards back then including his Fleer rookie card. Sold it for around $900 AUD a while back.

The Scoring Kings is my favourite and I've kept a couple of these.

Looks like I might have to Google some card shops in L.A. and hope for the best.

Which part of LA will you be in?

Here is a shop on the Westside of LA. I used to go to back when I was collecting.

Beverly Hills Baseball Card Shop
1137 S Robertson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90035
Opens 11AM
Phone: (310) 278-4263

I haven't been here in years, but it was a good shop. The owner's name was Matt, not sure if he is still the owner.

Good luck!

Thanks for the replies.
I'll be staying near the airport and will probably hire a car so I can get around freely.
My stay will be very short so no time to visit every card shop but I'll definitely call a few places and see if there's any interest.
I prefer to let the buyer physically see the cards to avoid any issues. I can always fall back on eBay if necessary.
