"Paulson style clay poker chips. (150-$25, 150-$100, 98-$500, 50-$1000, 50-$5000. Great for tournaments. Perfect condition. Not used much. Have been oiled for smoother use. Comes with case"

They look to be in good condition, I am not sure if this is a stock chip or not. I just dont need any more tourney sets right now.

Those are BCC InPlay chips, which I think were the first chip produced by sidepot on the cigar & snifter mold. Very nice chips.

Yeah, I'd offer more in case someone beat me to it.

I thought someone here would appreciate these, I probably should have just bought them and let some people here flip for them at cost. I just have too much shit going on at home to deal with this right now.

@Puggy had a bunch of these at one time, I think they were his first high-end set. Dunno where they ended up.

3 hours of rush hour traffic, 85 miles, and $180 later, I have them....

And they are glorious.

More pics to follow after I get home.

Finally home! I felt kind of bad because the guy was really nice and has a cash set of these In Play chips and doesn't need the tournament set.

I think he may have been under the impression that SidePot still makes these chips...

He also mentioned that he payed 0.80 a chip originally. Must have been awhile ago.

Man those are nice looking Chips. Don't love the inlay, but live the colors and mold. Do they have enough recess for an label?

The recess is very tiny. They aren't flush with the outer portion but I'd say you need a blade thin label to go over top.

I'll buy them if Derekdd23 doesn't want them.
The important thing is that they have returned to the PCF chip community :)

I almost don't want to use them since they are kind of rare. Maybe I should ship them to @BGinGA for his chip vault.

Nah, I've turned these down on many occasions - although they are beautiful chips (love the $100/$500/$1000 colors). These need to go to a good home when they can play with their long-lost brothers and sisters. If truly interested in that idea, I'd post a 'who has these chips?" thread and see what shakes loose.

It would almost be a shame to deface them (irreplaceable and all, although not rare by any means), but given the low price Mike paid, these would be great candidates for a @Gear inlay replacement with custom artwork. Perfect little customized one- or two-table tourney set.

I just wanted them in the community for a nice price for someone to enjoy.
Yeah I don't know what someone COULD sell these for but I might play a tourney with them and then ship them to the next person at cost with the understanding that they can never be a profit machine!

(Or someone can stop by and borrow them for awhile)

Kidding aside, I think the fact that some of the inlays are a bit egg shaped would make that impossible. If you remove the inlay, you'd be left with odds shapes (all different). I'm not sure how easy it would then be to replace the inlays. You'd basically have to have each one cut specifically to each chip, I think.

U know something I don't? I don't recall the InPlay chips being plagued with egg issues. Pics in this thread don't indicate such, either.... unless I'm just too tired to see it. It was pretty common on the flame mold (larger inlay size), and seems like the later Protege line had a few, but afaik these were all pretty round.

But yeah, inlay replacement therapy would not be feasible on chips with misshapen inlays.
