I have light and dark 1s (at least 2 shades, maybe 3) that I have considered fixing. It won't be until April because we are getting ready to move and everything is boxed up, but I will hit you up if you are interested in trading chips.

I knew about the issue in the ones but didn’t realize that it was a problem across the board. I’ll have to keep it in mind when I reignite my search.

Yeah - check my last group pic in this thread. There are 2 base and spot colors for 25c, $1, $5, and $25. (EDIT: 3 different $25s) All my other denoms match each other.

Ya I saw that, quite different. My $25s are definitely the darker colour and now that I see the lighter colour I want those instead lol. I’ll have to compare my 5s to the photo as I’m not sure which ones I have.

Do you notice any difference in the clay?

None that I can tell outside of color.

Glad my 600 ct set found a good home! I bought them in late 2014 back when I didn't think I'd ever track down a WTHC or Noir set. Before they even arrived in the mail I was able to purchase both a WTHC and Noir set, so the Samurai's pretty much sat in storage all this time. Too bad the $5's I sent you don't match the ones you have

I absolutely love them. The color differences are just a nitpick, I will use them all.

Just looking for NCVs, $1s, and $5s at the moment.

Yep ! I know, hard to find the same chips with many baths and differents edge. The SP was sell in France with differents bath. The more difficult chip is the $1000, if you dont buy the same chips in a rack you cannot refind exactly the $1000 color. Crazy but Samurai !
