I used to go to Mt Airy lodge every winter with my Pop Warner football team (go Fords Bearcats!) as a season ending getaway when I was a little lad. One morning a buddy and I were playing pool and the only ones in the arcade/game room and in comes Flavor Flav and a couple of his crew. We played doubles pool and we invited him to our youth dance party in the club that night. He actually showed up and hung out with just us kids for hours. I got to try on his clock (pink with rhinestones). Super nice guy RIP. There must have been some hip hop thing going on or it’s just popular with rappers because we also ran into TLC. They were not nice at all.
