I used to sell on eBay (Crafstman tools) and have shipped overseas on Many occasions. I think I got burned on at least 50% of those transactions.

I totally get that shipping to a chipper is a different story, as we are a community, etc. but this community has not been without shipping controversy.

When shipping precious cargo, I want every assurance it got there as I promised. International shipments can work out fine, but sometimes they are tricky, messy, and end badly.

I respect our chipping friends overseas, and I'm not opposed to shipping things to them, but not 2 to 3 large heavy boxes of very expensive chips. :).

Because it sucks. More paperwork, higher costs, USPS can't guarantee delivery since it changes hands to other couriers plus international shippers like FedEx are much costlier than US flat rate international shipping. The risk of lost/damaged in transit is much higher. Often buyers want the cheapest shipping (USPS international) which often translates to worst shipping option.

Another problem is what you write down for value. Receivers often get taxed based on value amount put on the paperwork. Noobs will often want the value to be stated as % less to avoid taxation, but they get fucked if the parcel gets lost and they try to redeem their moniez through insurance since the value was recorded as lower than it should be. As a seller, these situations can get annoying fast.

Edit: That said, I've shipped chips internationally plenty of times but I understand the headache it can introduce.

I've shipped over seas plenty. Little bit of paper work. I don't think its to bad. Opens up your customer base.

recommendation to change to 2 matching sets.

150 x 25x
330 x 1
510 x 5
10 x 25

1000 chips each

If the chips are spoken for, I'm ok with a two-way split, in whatever amounts. Not interested in selling rack for rack at this point. Preference is fewer shipments.

Granted, two eaqual shipments could result in additional shipping costs incurred, but I'd eat those.

BUMP and final price reduction.

I'm pricing these under $1.55/chip when you consider the free shipping.

I'll also sell the mint HS secondaries for $150/rack if the entire set is spoken for. I paid much more for these, but will take the loss, recognizing the prices on the HS chips has declined somewhat.

I am selling this Benny's set much lower than I believe they are worth, but the market is currently flooded, and I have no other means to fund my dream CPC customs.

Splitting these up and selling rack by rack is not desirable to me.

Id definatly be down for buying a raffle ticket or two.........

I've thought about this. However, I'm now considering holding off on selling for a while (if at all). If I can generate funds elsewhere, I'd rather keep the Benny's. If I can't generate funds elsewhere, I'll sell when the market isn't so flooded and there might be more interest..?

If someone shows interest in this classified fairly soon, I'll honor the pricing listed.

Look great but a little over my budget and my breakdown needs are less chips and different. GLWS

Oh boy! If you raffle I would be soooo in. With our sets combined that would make an incredible set!

Do a raffle for two equal sized sets!!!

100 entries at $35/each. 2 shots to win

I'll take 2...... Or would that be 4 ?

Ok, I'll consider the raffle concept. Not sure we have enough interest for 100 entries, but it couldn't hurt to try. I'll put something out tomorrow.

I'm headed to play right now, but will post an auction this evening. Probably going to be two equal 1000 chip sets, $35 per ticket, 100 tix avail, with 90 tix required for auction to run. Each tix gives you two opportunities to win. I'll do a pick 3 lotto drawing, and run two consecutive days. So it's $35 to get an entry into two separate raffle drawings.

I have doubts on whether we will get enough entries, but I'm willing to post an auction and see what happens.

Any suggestions here are appreciated. This sale still valid until it's cancelled (which I'll do once the auction posts).
