Best CPC racks (1 Viewer)

I just got a set of the CPC Chesterfields (super awesome chips ) and needed racks. My Paul-son chip24010 racks were to small. So I bought some racks from @dennis63 at Key West and could not be happier. His 67.7mm ranks are great. Great quality and they fit CPCs like a glove. Anybody with CPCs needs these. Just send @dennis63 a PM and he'll take care of you, just great to work with.

And what's a post without some pron.

Staked 6 high and no wobble at all.

Perfect fit, chips snug.

X2 best racks for CPC, I have a bunch for my customs, they look and fit perfect.

I stacked mine 9 high for this photo with no problem. Also from @dennis63 . They hold Key West chips nicely too. ;-)

Let me ask I have ChipCo racks and just got a set of 39mm CPCs. Most likely not 67.7. Some barrels fit fine in the racks while others do not fit 20 chips of the same Denom in the racks and only can fit 19. Is this common with CPC chips? Should I get the racks from Dennis? Or the racks with covers? The racks I have I believe I got them from Apache. For now the chips are staying in their Boxes from CPC. I will have to say some barrels even in the boxes are very tight which surprised me.

Well...

Agree with all. Great quality, sturdy

But two things:

1. It’s so tight, I can hear the chip texture rubbing (wearing) as chips go in. Isometimes have to adjust chips in a barrel to make it fit. I can totally see my less conscious friends cram them in there, causing more wear than necessary. You can actually see what I’m talking about below with the yellow arrows. Wear on mint chips put into a too-tight rack.

2. The one thing I still see, is that the chips don’t sit on the bottom of the rack. My smaller (large crown) sit, but my larger (B mold don’t). I found some cheap racks that have the right radius, but there’s some wobble. Better to have some wobble than torn up chips.

Closer than CPC quality racks, but still not there (blue arrow). And ZOINKS! You can see the wear from putting the chips in (yellow arrows).
