A 4'x8' table would fit - you might find it to be a little cramped length-wise when you add chairs but it would probably work. What else are you going to have in the room? Fridge? Cash in/out station? Hot dog roller?

I’ll also have a couple TVs hanging on the wall, but little else. This is a room behind my bar. Just a little small, but everything else is right outside the room.
Any size up to 9' would fit. I usually suggest having about 24" of space around the table on all sides for chairs with enough room for players to get up from the chair.
The width is actually where it'll be tight, players at the ends trying to get out of the space if the door is on the opposite short side wall. Below shows the poker table in the smaller oval and the bigger oval is 24" away.
