I have come to realization that i have been ripped off.
Scammer @Mike mac has stollen $200.00 from me guys.

I have decided to post this up to make you all members aware of the member @Mike mac .
About a month or two ago i set up a raffle for 1000 chip set. Member @Mike mac pleaded to me that he wanted to get 8 tickets $200 worth and that he could not pay me till july 27th which was his payday. I was the idiot to believe that he would actually pay me a few weeks later which he did not. I trusted the guy because he was a active pcf member with positive trade rating and had just traded 100 flamingo birds for 800 chips from a buddy of mine. Giving him the benefit of the doubt i went on and gave him 8 tickets for the raffle. He loss the raffle by the way and decided not to pay me by ignoring every phone call, and text

i messaged him that i would share with everyone this info, the message said delivered which means i know he received it, if it was a concern to him he would have text me back and say you know davin i need a little more time to pay you.... but nope nothing zilch he doesn't care, if he doesn't care about ripping hard working people like me off then he shouldn't care about his info right!!!

Why?

It is important information so other people don't get ripped off. If I make a deal with someone on facebook or craigs or somewhere else then I know who to be careful of.

@davin you should probably blur out his daughters face though.

im not out there to send the mafia over 200$...... its to alert all the other members of who he is and the kind of person he is.

People in Canada don't take matters into their own hands asked by Davin or not? I know people who have thrown bricks through someone's window to make a point. Who knows who else lives at the address. Its wrong IMO.

@navels just shipped 800 chips to the same address posted the same address mike has given me, same address he hosts weekly poker games it is his home
 
Hoping we don't get too far into the weeds on if and how much personal info is appropriate to post where and why . . . we could argue for days . . .

Bottom line, really sorry this happened to you, especially as you were being very generous to essentially loan $200 to a stranger (albeit one with good references in a way).

Everyone be warned and if you have occasion to encounter Mike in the flesh maybe you can encourage him to do the right thing.
 
My only concern is the street address and pic with his kid. Now if @Mike mac has posted his own address publicly then that's on him.

I understand your sentiment. I am not saying your are wrong but on the other hand there should be some negative result associated with accruing bad debts.

If someone can rip people off and then walk away from the forum without any form of reckoning seems they are getting off too easy.

Maybe just remove the specific house number. Leaving the city and the street is specific enough.
 
I edited out his personal information including his phone number and picture of his child. Too much for the internet. Also, Davin, your phone number is posted on your screen shots. You should consider editing.

Yeah but look how sweet that little girl looks... If someone did do something reckless like toss a brick through the window or whatever people who live there could be hurt and that is wholly necessary. Posting address without house number is enough.
 
So if you want to remove it go for it, might as well delete the entire thread and let the guy get away with it!!!!!

I see you point, but you are jumping to the conclusion someone would commit a crime just because his address is public. I don't think that's what Davin is suggesting at all.

That is why I jokingly said "this is Canada not America". It is very low probability that anything would happen but that chance still exists. Davin is not suggesting it but all it takes is one person with a few screws loose who thinks they are a justice vigilante. Who knows maybe someone from Florida could be on holidays up in Ontario...
 
FWIW I agree with not posting personal info publicly on the internet, you never know what some crazy person is going to do (not at all suggesting OP would intend this...but people are crazy man).

I'll share my semi-recent experience with Mike, and the reason I left him positive feedback:

I sold Mike some chips awhile back. It took a bit for him to pay. He was a bit unresponsive and had said he got into a car accident and had to pay some medical bills, so I gave him a bit more time. Eventually it ended up he sold some chips and had the other buyer pay me directly...then after shipment he had another friend send me the remainder (for shipping costs). So yeah, never had him actually PayPal me directly, but I was paid in a roundabout way. Didn't have any reason to not believe the car accident story, so other than a few days without communication and some additional time I allowed for him to get the funds back together, it was a fairly smooth transaction. He also offered to buy some other chips of mine, but asked if I could hold them for a couple of weeks before he could pay. I told him I'd be happy to sell them to him at that point, if they hadn't sold yet.

Slightly different transactions than OPs, no risk on my end because I made sure to get paid before shipping.

Hopefully Mike makes right.

@all...please take note that future wise reputations will become more valuable if you ever want to buy, sell or trade a premium set.
Think twice before thinking about screwing someone over here....it will stick
 
Another good reason why raffles should be gone. If he realizes that the raffle you ran was illegal in your state you open yourself up to legal action if you try to go after him in small claims court.

I hope you are able to get your money.
