Hey all. Thanks for checking the thread out.

Little background first. I was bored one day about 6 years ago or so and decided to just do a generic search on eBay for chips with my initials or even better, my name on them. I figured I would have the best results searching for some ADC or AC monogrammed hot stamps. I didn't find too much interesting so I took a shot in the dark and searched for my first name "Al" or "Alan". Boom...searched brought up a Big Al's Speakeasy yellow quarter, and I thought damn that would be cool to grab a few of those. They weren't cheap as singles but man I had to have some. Big Al is what a lot of the people who know me call me...I'd like to think it's because of my manly stature but it's most likely because of the beer gut. :) So over the next year or so, I was in contact with many eBay sellers trying to track down as many as I could of this set. I found out that this was a casino in Vegas which opened and closed in 1980. Sweet, any chips out there must still be in great shape right? So I had accumulated a handful of fracs, ones and fivers and thought that this was pretty cool until I reached out to @Spinettis Gaming and found out that they had a decent chunk of these chips...all the way up to the hundos! Once I picked myself up from the floor, I started thinking of stuff to sell. Damn it, I had already sold off most of my expendable chips. So I bought what I could at the time (the last 300 fivers that they had) and saved over the next couple of years and slowly bought what I could until you see the final(ish) set below. So excited to have this set and after a good clean and oil, they're ready for some action. Seriously I'm so frickin pumped to have this set, and I can't stop fondling them. I just had to share my excitement.

TLDR: I commissioned Paulson to do a leaded hot stamp set with my name on it! :cool  :ROFLMAO:

(143) $.25
(408) $1
(317) $5
(80) $25
(20) $100

Alan, if you ever host a meet up Ben and I will be the first ones in, I can only dream of being in the same room as all your epic sets!

I just had to share my excitement.
This set is effin' hot, mate. Many thanks for sharing!

If for some reason you decide to sell these, dibs; you retain permanent buyback rights, on demand, at my original cost.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate all the comments. It feels good to share. :)

@Venturalvn the colors are really beautiful and you’re right, once oiled, they became so vibrant. The red on the fivers is so deep and the $25 colors really glow in person. I wish I could take credit for choosing them.

@HMK overall the chips are in great condition. Could not have asked for anything better. The quarters and ones were dirty so they took the longest to make decent. The fivers and up are sharp as anything. I will probably flatten a few quarters and dollars but they are still playable as is.

@FordPickup92 I wish I could host but the basement isn’t big enough really. Hmm maybe I could kick the family out and utilize the whole house. :ROFLMAO:

But thanks again for the compliments all.
