Big Set. Breakdown Suggestions? (2 Viewers)

Way to few ones imo. 175 ones per table minimum.

Like I said, it depends on how the games are played. I don't have a single set with more than 400 $1's. The 2 sets that do have 400 $1's, I always have a full rack left in the drawer, even when running 2 full tables. Maybe our games play bigger, I dunno.

I do think you need to put most of your allocation in $5's though. after the 1st 10 buy in per table, I assume all you would give players are barrels of $5's.

So, if it were me.. which it is not...
I would get
300/400/700/160/40.

Lots of good breakdowns.

For me, I'd buy a cash set for your regular game. If your typical game is a one table cash game, get a one table set. If you regularly run two tables, get a two-table set. Meetups are irregular, and to have a huge set that rarely sees play because you only host that size once a year at best seems wasteful. You can always have guest sets if you get a one- or two- table set and more tables run at a meetup.

Even if you occasionally host a three-table game, you could get by with a two table set and a different set on the third table.

I'd go

300 x .25c
400 x $1
800 x $5
100 x $100

Ding, ding, ding!!!!!

We have a winner ladies and gentlemen!!!

"IF" there is an absolute hard stop at 1,600 chips, for a possible 3 tables, I'd do the above. Better to have 800 chips per table imo.
Yes. Though I’d combine it with psypher’s breakdown - that is, go with 240 and 560 for the fracas and $1’s.
I’m still not thrilled with idea of a quarters game with fewer than two racks of ones per table, but we’re getting there.
So maybe 200/600 and that will relieve the full-rack gestapo too?

There is a lot of wisdom to this. I do have a 2000+ chip set with my Benny’s, Which easily spreads three tables. And there’s only one or two days a year where I get three tables of cash going at once.

I suppose that during the MTTD, the first Thursday night game rarely gets more than two tables, the Friday game usually gets two tables or occasionally three sorta full tables. The only day where we get 3 full tables is generally on Saturday .

I guess I could get a set designed to spread two tables, then if I am running into a situation where I absolutely need to spread three or four tables, I could utilize the Benny’s set? Or a guest set for the third table?

Still idealling looking to be able to spread three tables, but I’m understanding that it’d be the exception. If only I had an extra $1k in the budget. Lol

Fewer $1 chips with plenty of $5s just means making change...not the end of the world. Saves you money.

I agree with @WedgeRock I would only build a two table set.

200 x .25
400 x 1
400 x 5
100 x 20
40 x 100
20 x 500 (for Jeff).

Then as stated, use a guest set for the third table.

Hmmmmm, I’m strongly guessing that after I get this FT cash set, my awesome and epic Benny’s Set will rarely see use. I could totally see showing off a portion to fund an add on to my customs, then keeping the remainder of the Benny’s as a traveling or secondary cash set

I think I’m probably getting ahead of myself though.

"fire sale" on a one table bennys set? I have a few bucks left in my PP.

Just a teaser. Love these chips. Hmmm. Sell off a 1000 of these to fund a few additional racks of FT cash chips? Interesting concept.

At $100/player stakes, my go-to breakdown for up to 24 players (three tables of circus) is 200/300/500, then 60/40 for the $20/$100 denoms (or 80/20).

Covers 24 players conveniently (i.e., three people get an extra $5 chip and a few less $1s to start), with an $8k+ bank:

I would go lighter on the fracs and $1's and heavier on the workhorse $5 chip:

.25 - 200
$1 - 300
$5 - 900
$20 - 160
$100 - 40

Why not get a 2 table set,
200 fracs
400 $1
800 $5
160 $20
40 $100

And then use those Benny's for the third set? Then you get a great new set that covers all your normal nights, and make due during the abnormal MTTD.
Besides, guest sets are an awesome part of meetups! (At least to those watching at home. :D)
Good luck!
