I finally received my Blades 007 chip and it is magnificent.

For my first pic, I decided on a tribute to the late producer of the Bond classics - Dr. No, Goldfinger, Thunderball, and The Spy Who Loved Me

If this isn't a Bond villain pet I don't know what is.

Ahhh, Mr Bigglesworth has returned. Nice mate :-). Thanks for playing :-).

I don't think 007 was ever in Kansas......till now

Cheers Rowdy, just the sort of place to unwind for a stressed out secret agent, but still a great field of fire on most approaches :-). I love Kansas in the winter.

Hahahaha, brilliant mate. Another fine entry, and healthy too. Bond was partial to asparagus with sauce bernaise - a dish served at Blades :-).

Well done all, keep up the good work, and thanks for having a bit of fun with me and 007.

A.

Hello all, I have moved the thread here as it seems more appropriate and is clearly where the action is.

Get snappin'.

Cheers,
Adam

I thought the contest ended today, so I was very nervous that I literally got my chip as I was leaving to go the airport for Melee. So the shots below are the best I could do in terms of interesting at the Albany "international" airport. (There used to be flights to Canada, but not anymore).

On the plus side, I'm posting these from 7 miles above the earth. (Thanks JetBlue for the free and reasonably fast wifi (y) :thumbsup:)

Amaze-balls indeed Bentax, thanks for the shot of some really big knockers :-).

I did intend to end the comp on 5 Feb, but due to some delays in people receiving the 007, I will extend it for another week to 19 February. So, if you wish to enter another, please do.

Hi all,

I will be extending the submission date due to some unexpected delays in some 007 chips arriving on time.

The new submission end date will be 19 February, with voting and judging time adjusted accordingly.

I had hoped for more submissions given the prizes available :-).

Best of luck :-)

I want to add. Anyone that has seen this chip immediately loves the shit out of it

Haha, that is fantastic to know mate, so glad it is well received. I was just sitting here thinking how crazy it is that there are over 30 of them floating around out there in the world :-). Love it.

I've only got a dozen sample sets of the sunset chips floating around. I as well find it very cool that people from all over the world has a sample set.

Cheers @k9dr . 007 really has to deal with all sorts of animals :-).

Keen to see some recognisable landmarks around people's neck of the woods as well :-).

Hi guys, just confirming this comp will run until 19 February.

Also, as much as I appreciate the great shots of chow, pussies and other funny things, in the 'other categories', the comp will be judged on imgainative/creative/beautifully photographed entries depicting the 007 and landmarks, as per OP :-). Keep up the funny stuff, but just know that it is not eligible for the listed prizes. It may attract a 'boobie' prize though :-).

I love Bond and travelling, so show me the 007 where you live!! :-)

then last night played 2 sngs blades as a card guard again. cashed in 3rd on the first the second i just donked myself out - my ego got in the way and i handed my chips over. But then played a $20 cashie afterwards and got up $25. not a bad night really

Great to hear mate :-). I have never heard of Blades menswear lol, so cool. Next time I am in Canberra will have to check it out.

Ok. So, we have 30+ Blades 007 chips in the four corners of the world and have only got 3 legitimate 'landmark' pics eligible for prizes. A booby prize could be arranged for the passed-out German Shepherd :-), several pussy shots, amusing broccoli, and large knockers, and not to mention @detroitdad 's wife keeping us 'abreast' of the goings on in that house-hold. :-)

However, the entries eligible for prizes thus far stand as;

1. @Don Clay - 007 in Bois Colombes, France (see #15);
2. @RowdyRawhide - 007 in Kansas, USA (see #30) Any chance of another Kansas shot Rowdy, with something we'll recognise, or something Kansas is well-known for? :-); and
3. @CHP TD - 007 in Canberra, Australia picking up half-price knits at 'Blades' :-) (see #48).

With the end date fast approaching for what I thought could be a bit of fun with FREE Casino Royale prizes, I am a bit surprised there haven't been any further entries.

Should I expect any further entries??? Anything from;

England (London, Edinburgh, Loach Ness, Hadrian's Wall, White Cliffs, a castle, abbey or ruins etc...);
France (Paris - Eiffel Tower, Arche de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Wine regions, Alps, Normandy beaches, Somme battlefields etc...);
Germany (Berlin, Koln Cathedral, any castle on the Rhine :-), Alps etc...
USA (Statue of Liberty, White House, Washington Monument, Mt Rushmore, Disneyland, Las Vegas, Miami etc...;
Russia (Kremlin, Red Square, St Petersburg etc...); and
Any other country, state, city you happen to come from or are visiting or are planning to visit soon :-).

Don't want it to go on and on, as that would be unfair for those that jumped in early on. :-)

There can be more than one photograph per person, but only one can be entered. That way, if you come across something better or whatever, you can change your entry.

So, hopefully we can get some more entries in, and unless I hear otherwise (ie. I am going somewhere next weekend or early the following week), I will close the comp on Wednesday, 24 February 2016, 8:00PM, Brisbane time :-). Winner to be announced on Saturday, 27 February 2016.

Good luck.

Sorry not too many landmarks in KS, and about the only thing we are probably known for are sunflowers and wheat both of which won't be photo worthy for another four to five months. I'll be in Vegas in two weeks but that'll be after the deadline. I'll see if I can think of anything else

@Phantom

There just isn't much in Ypsilanti, MI. I have thought of two pictures that I could take. Nothing crazy. I plan on taking the pictures on Friday.
