after months and months (and months) of designing and waiting, my babies were finally delivered today... to say i'm impressed would be a HUGE understatement!!!

J5 hit a GRAND SLAM with his design and CPC followed thru with SUPERIOR workmanship!!!

if you're thinking about getting a custom set done, you can't go wrong with J5 and CPC!

Very nice!

1- Is that 1000 chip base DG Tiger?
2- Do you notice an over abundance of specks or other colors mixed in with your chips? Maybe it's just the one shown, but the 25k chip seems to have a lot of other colors speckled in the base color. I'm sure a few here and there just add character, but if it's too much, then it might grate on me after a while.

1- it is day glow tiger ;)
2- there really isn't a lot of speckledness IMHO... I'm very happy with them :)

Any advice on oiling them? Never oiled chips before... I wanna bring out their full, vibrant colors

Just put a small amount of mineral oil on towel/rag and wipe the edges down - I do a barrel at a time. A little oil goes a LOOOOOOONG way.

These turned out fantastically by the way :)

Well done! I'm partial to the 1000 personally. Links is correct. A small amount of oil will do the whole batch.

A drop or 2 of mineral oil on a lint-free rag will coat quite a few chips. You'll get a feel for it pretty quickly. The label on the FDL is pretty large, so you will inveitably get some oil on the label that you can just wipe right back off (it won't absorb) with a dry corner of your rag. Drink, wipe, repeat.

Very nice set Bordizzle, I especially like the 1k, Dayglo tiger is a killer new color. The inlay design is reminiscent of the Paulson Noirs.

Very nice! What are the colors on the 5k? Looks like maybe bright white base but what edge spot colors?

i was going for something similar to the "noir" line.... i was thrilled when @Johnny5 told me he designed that inlay ;)

initially, i was going for a "grape vine" look.... but when he showed me that design it was a wrap!
