Starting my chip journey as well and have been on the classified site for the last couple of weeks. Paulson chips typically are running $2-$3, but can easily spend more. Good luck.
If I was looking for a 6-person table, I'd be looking at round or octagon. There are some quality table builders on here (@T_Chan, @Irish), but if I was looking for an octogon/round, I'd either be looking to build one, or buy one from craigslist. I see local octogons for $50 - $150 all the time. I don't think they are worth that (which is why I'd consider building one), but if you're not handy with a hammer, its an option.
Welcome to the forum. Lots of awesome info here. Make sure any questions provide a ton of background info, as often new people don’t know what they don’t know..
So be prepared for good advice, but be ready to listen to that advice. We won’t steer you wrong.
Welcome! You seem like you'll fit right in. If you want the market value of Paulson chips hang out here and check out the pricing. This is the market for chips. There are vendors in the Market place section of this site that charge market value for their chips and member who are selling chips. You found the market.
