Sounds like @ReallyGoodUsername got rich! We probably don’t want to know what he charged you!!If I had been bargin hunting like you, I would probably be around there. But I overpaid for some of my chips due to FOMO and wanting them then and now. I am afraid I am a bit north of that number. I intentionally did not keep track because I don't want to know, but if I took an educated guess, I am between 10k and 12k. Of course, I have 3 extra racks of a second $1 set that you don't have (yet )
I don’t wanna talk about it…….Unless you're chasing yellow $5 chips…
Well, he got part of that. But various eBay sellers and assorted other PCF members got their share tooSounds like @ReallyGoodUsername got rich! We probably don’t want to know what he charged you!!
The only "plastic" chips are the CIC chips in the set and a couple of the slug chips like the $5 above, otherwise they are all clay. I am all for different molds in the older vein. I don't have any RHC. As for people sneaking in chips, this set is for my good friends on a single table. No strangers and no one that is not trustworthy. I have other sets for 2 table games and non-regulars.Cool concept, but I might try refining it a bit. It would tilt the shit out of me mixing clay, plastic and ceramic. Mixing molds within one manufacturer would work, but I feel like the diameter differences between say Paulson, TRK and bud jones would drive me nuts. Also, this looks like a great opportunity for your players to harvest $10-20 singles by swapping in some random shitty chips, but hopefully you trust them.
PS - on that note, this is probably the least secure set I can think of, literally any green or black casino chip could be snuck in for face value…
I suppose I should have posted the Rat Rod dealer buttons as well with those photos... and I guess I should make a thread soon to start selling these at some point. Anyone interested in one or the pair?

The first chip I noticed on page 1 was a Dunes commemorative $5. That chip is either plastic or china clay, which is also plastic. But there are definitely a lot of very cool clay chips mixed in there too.The only "plastic" chips are the CIC chips in the set and a couple of the slug chips like the $5 above, otherwise they are all clay.
Yeah, there are a few tribute chips currently in the set, but they are on their way out. Those Dunes are already gone. Going back and looking at the first page, I am assuming you are talking about the red $5 chip from the top view? lolThe first chip I noticed on page 1 was a Dunes commemorative $5. If you ever find yourself with extra Sam's town quarters let me knowA nice haul arrived today. A handful of eBay purchases and then a trade with @DMack provided a large number of THC quarters! Thanks!
Soon to be washed and added...

Incredible work! I did about 60 chips today in around an hour going one by one by hand with magic eraser and watching tv. Would go a lot faster with help. Your father in law too!Still havent washed some of the new chips yet, but those that have been washed got oiled today during football. Got help from the wife and father-in-law. Made good time doing just shy of 1200 chips!
No doubles anywhere except in the yellow fracs.
