CAN/US custom 39mm Cards Mold small GB - Production completed (3 Viewers)

I'm really torn between thinking that the color is misprinted by them OR that the color is ok but appearing more yellow in general even in the video (hence blue turning green) and that changing it will in reality make it worse. But the glove in the video is so blue.... aaarrgghh!

That's exactly what I'm feeling right now

For the record, the colors on my chips in the videos look exactly as I expected them to. I didn't see any pictures of mine before that, so I can't speak to whether there's a big difference between the photos they're sending and the videos.

Reverted back to this......we'll see!

Hi all. couple reminders.
1. When you're sending me artwork, please ensure your username is at least mentioned in the email, ideally in the filename, but just somewhere.
2. If it's an update to previous artwork that has been submitted, it would be best if the file name indicated that. "V2" is handy or the date.
3. Update your chip count on your tab of the shared excel file. For those who can put it in your art file, great. But put it in the excel tab anyway.

I just received a sample set of ceramics (different buy) and I have to say they look and feel great. Now I just want to get mine ordered ASAP so they can sit in a box until covid blows over...

For whoever's ordering the Mapes tribute chips, I'd love to buy a sample set from you if you're willing to order extras. Also willing to trade a sample set of the chips I'm ordering if you'd prefer (New China Club tribute chips)

The only annoying thing is the orders have to be in 25s so if you want to get some extra samples you need to like get 25 sample sets haha

For me, I want full barrels (and I'n ordering all the denoms) so I will have a few sample sets. Feel free to PM me if anyone here wants one

Honestly the prices are pretty decent too. I prefer to have extras in case I lose a chip or break a chip or one's defective or something. But here I'm ordering an 800+ chips set and I have to be careful not to go into a second box. Right now I have the maximum number of barrels that will theoretically fit in 1 box

That's not right, is it? Or am I misunderstanding your post?

As I understand minimum qty is 25 per chip, but you can order 26 for example. Orders don't have to be in multiples of 25, do they?

...I thought someone clarified and it had to be in multiples of 25. I feel like someone said this a week or so ago. Could be mistaken...

Maybe I'm remembering info from the previous group buy?

If that's the case I need to adjust my order amounts:bag:

Sounds like it's me that's gotta make changes.

The big question is do I round up, or down....?
When I changed mine I rounded up until I hit the maximum weight in a box. At twenty-something cents a chip, an extra barrel is under $6. My line of thinking is that for that amount of money it's better to have extra chips than to wish I'd ordered more. I think the PCF methodology is that more chips is always a good thing

I was going to order about 2100 chips but since I could only order in groups of 25.....I couldn't figure out how to order less than 2750. Also 2750 also happens to be the magic number on the invoice for the # of MFRB at 3 before changing to 4 which I assume increases to the cost of the item by fractions of cents more per chip.........It seems 925 chips are the number of units per MFRB..... keep that in mind as I believe that would be the number of boxes in the order for weight.

No the magic number for 39mm is more around 900 chips. your comment made me realized there was a small error on the google sheet. it is now fixed for everyone. just for your curiosity, the formula was taking the packaging weight into account only once, but if you have multiple mfrb then it needs to be taken into account multiple time as well. correcting this had no impact on the number of MFRBs for anyone except @philhut . you will need to revise your chips count sorry for the trouble but thank you for showing light on this hidden little detail

lol am I the only greedy one ordering lots? Can I please get an explanation of the affects of going form a 3 to a 4 in the MFRB is for the end cost of shipping? approx? debating if the full 4 is worth it or to trim down to 3 which requires me cutting exactly 75 chips from the stack.

Current figures....would you subtract 75 chips to qualify the order for MFRB 3 and what would you trim? (thinking this adjustment)
5c200
25c250 (-25?)
$1400

$20200
$25325
$100325
$500200
$1,000200 (-25?)
$5,00050 (-25?)

Or

Add 825 chips for the Full MFRB 4, would you use a different breakdown? a chip count I was thinking reflective of adding 825 more chips
5c200
25c250
$1700 +300
$51000 +400
$20300 +100

Two factors for me:

• chips are being shipped to me, then I'm doing the reshipping. So the # of chips that fit into a box isn't a concern.

• I already went over my budget, and I have 21 designs in my order. Rounding up on all of them could be an extra 400 or so chips!

I kinda feel like these two things cancel each other out. I'll figure it out today and post when I've updated the spreadsheet

I am thinking of this breakdown.....Shipping#4 maxed out

Would you change this breakdown? basically this set would be about 50% bigger than the CPC set I have on order....making the whole thing a basically do everything set.

confused on why you have 1000x 5$. I don't know your intended breakdowns but seems to me as the least used chip...

I agree with you that if the $5 is only played in tournaments and as a high chip in a micro set it is rarely used but in a 1/2 no limit game or as a floor chip its the most important chip.

For cash $1/2 tables the $5 chip is the most common....Back before I was in the field I am now I dealt a few games with a Pharaoh set that I had and though I think I had 500- $5's I was always running short and required throwing 25's on the table..... This meant that in game nights where tournaments and cash games were played that (risked getting busy using the 25 and 100 chips) I would not be able to use my nice set for both games out of concern for chip cross over.... So I always then brought 2 sets. I always wanted one set that would fit both roles that I would be sure were both mine and guarantee the cage $ at the same time reducing the risk of chip cross over from tourney to cash game etc. It also meant that only the initial buy in could be provided in stacks of $200 in 5's like at a 1/2 table casino for only the initial buy in on 1 table. From my experience from the casino floor at many local casinos the $5 chip is the basic currency floated with the odd $25 chip.
I remember only a handful of times I even had a $100 chip in my stack on a cash table at the local casino. Basically I always can fall back on opening a real full games room at some point lol..... I also am in more real life (not) pipe dreams thinking of packing up and breaking up part of the set into playable cash/tourney sets to give to relatives (my aunt lives in Costa Rica and coined the name the sloth club years ago, I would like to send her a little set). I personally don't know how to play poker for .5c or 25c blinds, I always play loose as heck and lose all of my money the few times i've ever done it. The chips are a very good value so why not add some affordable micro-denoms.... I would imagine the 5, 25, 100 and 500's to see the most use in games I have hosted or brought chips too. If the worst happened and the bank was broken on $10's or $20's in each cash chipset then I could always introduce a $100 that is not in play in a tournament. Or for a Monte Carlo Event these chips would serve as full floor casino duty chips with other chips in my collection serving as poker/roulette etc... just hedging for the future, or living the dream. Currently with all the Isolation restrictions I'll be storing these chips in boxes until we can actually have live games without the eye of Sauron upon us.

basic tourney stacks of 8/8/4/2+ for 25/100/500/1000 stack tourneys of 5k +/- starting stacks allows 5 tables for a rebuy tournament while also allowing for 1-3 cash tables to be operated at the same time from the same chip set without having chips cross line....in combination with the paired chips the options are wide open. I can't really see hosting larger than a 5 table tournament ..... without some fancy gaming license, even for prizes and canned good donations lol

limitless.

mfrbs are like 15$ wothin the US... so most people do jot really care. I put it there in the sheet since for us Canadians mfrbs are 55$. you dont really want to have 20 chip more than what could fit in a box, for 55$ more....
