I'm working with a manufacturer to produce these in both plastic and aluminum.

Please feel free to ask questions or provide feedback / opinions.

Faded Spade will likely be too thick to fit into this case.

The copag cases annoy bc they are so hard to open and close! These look much better.

Love these designs, so sleek! Only worry would be getting a card pinched between the lid and that raised side. I know Desjgns are usually thicker anyways, just a thought. Will definitely be buying atleast one.

I'm working on revision to add a notch on both short sides to make it even easier to open.

:sneaky: The Desjgns are one of the more thicker card stock, and it is a tight fit in the photo I have removed the 'jokers' or bugs and I am also working on a revision to add 1 mm to the depth which I'm hoping will provide enough space to include the bugs without any worry.

This is really smart and fits a perfect niche, sleek and easy to fit anywhere. Excited for it.

My response would be - Interested, but need more information.

My preferred decks are Modiano Platinum. I think they are less thick than some of the ones you mentioned. Which is good since I keep my jokers (for non poker card games) and keep a cut card with my decks.

Do you have an estimated cost range?

Personalization options? Logo or names?

Love the smooth corners look and the footprint is minimized. Very nice!

Will they stay closed during travel? In other words, the lid won't easily fall off, will it?

And is there an option to get something scribed on the lid? Maybe the name of the brand of cards? Or a design on the lid like white outline of a king/queen/jack (or all three together on an angle) against a black background?

This is a work in progress.

The aluminum version yes, but its not in the average members price range, even the affluent members ;)

The hand model is very fragile, NO MEMES! :ROFLMAO: If this turns into .. other threads where its nothing but hand photos re-mastered .....

Not likely there isn't enough material on the plastic version.

My other vote explained: Pretty interesting, and does seem like a good product. But Faded Spade are my most common poker sized cards, and so if those don’t fit in the final product, then I’m likely not in. Definitely support the venture though.

For those reasons I'm out.jpg

I've thought about a DIY project just for Faded Spade, but then I found this was already out there

Great video. Thanks for producing that.

Version 2 just came in.

You can see it is a bit taller, and has a notch to open easier.
The faded spades will fit snuggly, the J design fit like a glove (with the bugs). In testing what I will refer to as the shake test, where I turn the box upside down, and violently shake, it failed with vigorous shaking.

Turning the box over and shaking it at a medium amount of force the card stayed in the case in the case stayed closed.

I plan to consider the new version for production the week following Thanksgiving.

There are some logo opportunities via laser printing. I don’t have a cost on the product or the laser printing. If you’re interested in a logo be graphics or printed font please reach out to me I’ll see what we can do.

Overall, I really like version two it all allows for you to to open the case one-handed.

It would also be beneficial if they had a slight recess in the lid that would hold the label, and a protrusion on the bottom to make them stackable... you know, for people with more card set-ups than they have tables (or sense).

They think it could be done, but would likely change too much and likely push the cost up as well.
