Preorder CARDS*GROUP BUY* Broken Arrow Professional Series *Bridge/Jumbo* (2 Viewers)

@Cratty answered it in an earlier post
The answer is what left me with more questions. I did not understand why the decision was made to include the face of a Native American in a headdress. I was giving the benefit of the doubt that there was further info. For instance, that the artist belonged to an indigenous group, that portions of profits were donated (I.e permission or collaboration implied), etc. Thanks for the tag but these cards aren't for me.

I think he chose it because it looked cool? IDK, everyone has their own preferences. I understand if the picture is a deal-breaker for you based on preference. Why does it matter exactly why he chose it?

It was done to fit with the vendor's theme. Their previous cards also had this quirk on the ace of spades and in play you don't really notice it much. The design on this ace of spade is more subtle and traditional looking than the previous designs you can find at the link below

It was a sole design choice by me given the history of Broken Arrow OK and a chief depiction was nothing but a means to honor, also by tying to the highest card (and homage to a KEM ace design). AI was used to avoid specific likeness or tribe references, what I saw as cause for concern. I didn't see any issue with a chief art, same as I dont see issue with Apache's logo, or images/logos of other cultures as long as they're coming from a position of respect and dont incite folks to take further toward a demeaning/make fun of path (e.g. sports mascots can lead to further "dress-up, chants, etc" which begin to cross a line - albeit a grey one).

I am also making no profit on these cards as well, purely doing for fun.

But in the end, respect if your or others opinions disagree!

None for me, thanks. I think the colors and stock and designs are intriguing, definitely seems like something special this round with the community collaboration. However, to be honest, it feels weird to me to purchase cards depicting the face of a Native American man without further context about why it is there (I.e. was this created in collaboration with or permission from a tribe, etc). I would expect that others may disagree with me that this matters. But, that's simply my view of it.
Yeah I get it. It's tough for me to even play cards with depictions of monarchy and the such.

6 setups if still available. Also prefer combining shipping with January chip/dealer button order if possible, but OK if not possible. Thanks.

These are still available. They have been ordered but you can still jump in. There are plenty. I will send invoices out soon for those of you who have not received yet
