I think/assume the two files would only be needed for hybrid, so one file for the label. If non-hybrid, then just one file with the full chip design and edge stripes. I’m not sure if @Chiphuntr was asking generally about cards mold chips or specifically about designing hybrid chips like the ones @Himewad’s showcasing most recently.

In either case the design process is the same - in fact the hybrids and regular cards mold were both printed by Tina though on different blanks. Obviously the label is printed separately and glued on.

I probably should have mentioned you can use the CPC or the Paulson design tool which has more color and spot options to "mock up" your chips, but you will need to get someone who knows adobe illustrator to turn that mock-up into a printable design. There is no automated way to do it currently.

Thank you for the response, I should have been a little more clear. I would like to try design for cards mold.
I don’t know how to use Illustrator but would sure like to try and learn. I know it would take some time.
 
You can use the design tool to set up the colors and edge spot styles, and then use the image as a template to illustrate it.

Binions WSOP tribute cards mold set, who owns the art? I can’t find pics, although I’m sure I’ve seen them. Will they be available and on what terms?

Aria’s tribute cards mold cash & tournament set, these are very nice.
Who owns the art? Can I still get them? What would be the terms? Will there be another GB?
 
Arias were done by @Johnny5 - I don't know who did the Binion WSOP cards mold but it looks like one of the early cards mold buys.

You have the option of contacting the artist for permission to use the artwork and then jumping in on one of the "art provided" group buys, or a "add-on" group buy like the one that happened last month here or wait for a group buy that has your art.

Alternately you can order direct from one of the card mold suppliers like Tina yourself as described here.

For the love of God, can someone please design a PCA set (primary $1 as THC dimensions, not RHC and the rest secondary, oh and make a nice $1k for tourneys)? Would love to finally get my hands on that five hundo.

Does anyone have any close up pictures of barrels or splash pots of the finished Binions tribute CM chips that they'd be willing to post?
