Can you test with a label as well. Seems like the white would be hard to get covered up properly. My murdered paulsons have like a 1mm gap between recess edge and label, but that would be a million times more noticeable if it was white.

Using the slightly smaller bit, with the right labels, I don't think it would be well noticed. Opportunity here me thinks.

I guess youd just have to be very conscious of the depth, so that the label covered that inside edge of the mill area

Yup. Depth would be crucial and they don't like being milled. But I think it'll work
