I recently did these TRK's.Has anyone done a cash game solid set? If, so how about posting some pics?
Thanks
Mark
@mooremo if you're noodling whether solids would be inappropriate for a cash game or whether you'd like them, my advice would be to go for it since you already have a great spotted set.
I slightly regret doing my first set of Clermonts as solids, but ended up going that way for a lot of reasons beyond the cheap price (back then they were something like .78 each). Solids fit the theme and the feel I was going for and I was super excited for the then newly-available smooth plain mold.
My regret was only that my favorite custom set was solids and not the more "fun" spotted set I had considered getting. But you won't have that problem at all. With your awesome spotted set you'll always have the option of playing with either solids or spots, so I say get that design running.
Here's mine.
Were those Black Sands a GB a looong time ago? Trying to remember the history on thoseOh forgot I have these, too, but these pics are even worse than the Clermont shots:

Bummed I only got 4 racks of $5s in this set. It has kept it out of the main rotation for some time, but I'll probably try to work it back in now that I have a crowd that wants to play .25/.50 sometimes.
And the Black Sands, which I no longer have unfortunately, and which were way too small a set even when I did have them. Still...those inlays, though. Beautiful.

And these FELC stamped h-molds which are long gone, but were a cool old school simple non-denom set (but which were obviously cash chips) and had a great cash game breakdown (400/1000/200):

Hmmmm....I smell a GB cookin on the horizon........unless @TheChipRoom keeps coming up with casino chips to sellYeah it was a GB right before or right after I joined CT run by @ACE'S FULL. The design was by CT member Fins.
Really spectacular design. Not a ton of chips around nowadays, but I did get @ACE'S FULL's permission to make more chips after I bought a small set. Hopefully someone will make more of these in the future as the design really deserves the love it gets when people are reminded of it.

Didn't that GB predate FDL mold availability?

Yeah just before it I believe.
I was wondering how it would look on the FDL, but then I got to thinking how sands makes sense with the hourglass mold. Speaking of hourglass, does anyone know of a recent set with the hourglass mold?
