With the upcoming sun/diamond mold with Tina .. wanted to make a set for it.. (edit... pivoting to CPC..) but also go more "vintage" looking with colors/inlay. I've been knocking around the idea of doing a casino royale set for a while to replace my metal slug chips and give a reason for me to use the topper as well.

I found this edition of Casino Royale (4th edition, 1957)... and loved the art...

So... take #1 at an inlay design (quick mockup):

I do like that but would prefer him posed with an upraised hand and pistol much like the Bond girl and her drink. Referencing the card art if you know what I mean.

Yeah, was trying to go more subtle with it. The more I think though, the more I'm leaning toward going girls only (possibly a Bond button).

I know you ruled out any future hybrid adaptations for the Jolly Roger set, any chance we‘ll see this available in future group buys?
I‘m a huge James Bond fans and I am sure that once I am done with my current project (movie tourney set with plaques, selfmade wooden cases, accessories), I could imagine getting this as a small cash set.

Possibly, will have to think on it now. The jump to CPC for me is somewhat justified in exclusivity vs just materials and manufacturer history.

But I'm also a long-time Bond fan.. (my other collection being watches.. bought a couple just because of Bond), and almost guarantee I'll make another Bond or casino royale themed set down the road.
