Much tighter than I anticipated. Trops are carried by the quarter pies, Bellagio is elegant through and through.

I gotta go with the Trop's, I like the colors and the vintagenees of these baby's

I'll take Bellagio all day here. I kinda like their clean inlay, and love the $1, $5, $20 - good God, that $20! - and the $25. Not a huge fan of the rest of the set, but other than for the classic/rarity/nostalgic factor, I'm not a huge fan of the Trop 1st's in general.

I choose Bellagio, but figure the Trops have the inside track for the win here.

Is there a reason for not showing the entire Bellagio rack? Not a criticism just wondering as the best B chips are the upper denoms by a mile.

Idiot Edit - just noticed the last pic in the op.

Here are some more can't find a good 5k pic???:

That Bellagio $500 is on my all time best chips list.

Glad I don't have enough messages to vote . These are tough to make your mind on!

Trops for sure.

Now if we were talking about the original Bellagio's... Then we have a different story.

tropicana...old school, winner

interesting to see how opinions vary and the reasoning, alot of these matches closer than i expected...lots o fun (y)

BG i think that 5k B chip you posted with the edge spots, similar/same as the ACF chips in the Dunes match up that swayed a few votes

I want one of those five dollar Bellagio's. Anyone have an extra I can buy? Maybe I'll holler at @k9dr to see if he can grab me one.

Wish I had known, would have been happy to grab one for you. I handled many thousands of those $5 chips the past 4 days.

Can someone who loves the Bellagio chips explain why they love them so much? I mean, I love the hotel itself, and the $20 chip is nice, and the $5000 chip is the bomb, but how often are they even in play? The rest of the chips to me are nice enough looking, I guess, but I don't understand why they are so beloved here.

Didn't think about it until I saw your pictures this morning.

classy is the first word that comes to mind. I enjoy a chip design with a clean, simple look. That includes the inlay design along with the edge spots.

For me, the nosebleed denoms are huge. I think a lot of this contest turns on how people judge these things. Are we looking only at the denoms we would use in our games? Are we weighting every chip equally no matter what the denom? Do we give a "bonus" for one rack having more denoms than the other?

My method is as unscientific as it gets. I look at the chips. I vote. I do no analysis. I don't let it sit. I look. I vote.

Looking back on the two sets and trying to figure out why I tended toward the Bellagio, I think it's because I don't find any chip in the Trop rack very interesting apart from the frac.
