Somehow my first checkin post did get deleted, have no idea why.
But here i go again:
Iam a passionate poker player from switzerland. Collecting playing cards and started doing a little bit of cardistry, at least iam trying. Just built my first poker table and getting into chips now :) if you have any questions, dont hesitate to ask.

Its the first one, i am thinking about building one with an racetrack made of epoxy (where you can see through and at the ground there are some chips etc enclosed) :)

There a lot of knowledgeable table builders around here.
Sorry to say I am not one of them but I have toyed with the idea of trying.

Good luck on the next build.
 
Dig the idea of an epoxy track, but I would make sure it's mostly filled in with bling. Otherwise if someone drops a chip, they could get an eyeful of a neighbors cards when they go under the table to pick it up.

Yes it really makes me feel welcome :) lots of friendly people and interesting threads to read.
Well i like solid chips (just bought a tournament set from apollon, lucid diamond)
Iam trying to build a cash game set with multicolor hotstamps (hope the terminology is correct:)). I already bought some sams town 1$, and, private cardroom 25$ (will receive them soon), i want to build my set around.

Check out @JeepologyOffroad mixed hotstamp set with Sam's town $1s, really amazing set!

My favorites are the PCA chips, from a closed river boat casino, President Casino on the Admiral. I have both primary and secondary chipsets.

Wow very very nice chips. I like the pinks, and the blue/black hot stamps especially
