The ChipGuide says it was open from 1924 to 1943. Pretty good run for an illegal club. It's a bit amazing to me that such a set exists..wish I had the cash to spend.

The Chesterfield Club was definitely a real thing....don't know if the chips are the real thing.
I agree with @Joe Harris its hard to believe that this set would still exist

Shared it with the illegal club experts/Crest & Seal experts over at TheChipBoard. One replied that Spinetti's had and may still have tons of these. He's already seen sets bigger than this. And in quantity, $2/chip should be avg paid. Might be the #1 most common C&S chip, at least in top 3 most common. Sounds like rarity is out the window, lol.
