Here is a pic of my collection, I get a $1 chip from every casino I go to or drive by and if there is another denom that looks cool I'll get one too. So far I have collected 66 chips but about 25 of them are duplicates. Any suggestions of casinos with really cool chips I should put on my bucket list? Also I'd love to see some other collections that are out there.

Got it, got it, got it, need it, got it, got it...

I see your Mystic Lake chip. I have the snapper in both ROT and LOT varieties. I've only seen the LOT version for sale once, and I bought it.

The best chip from MS.

I'd to get one of these but I think it closed about 10 years ago... I'm fairly new to collecting so I have yet to figure out how to get chips from closed casinos.

That Grand Casino Gulfport is a tough one to find. Yes the casino is closed. It operated up until Hurricane Katrina hit the gulf coast

My college roomate's mother worked at that casino for many years.....she used to get me chips from all the places down there including those. Had I known I would own sets years later, I would have had her pick me up racks of them ... oh well (n)

A decent portion of my collection has been a "hands on......or hands lost, and won" experience. Actually going to the casinos, siting at the tables, buying in and walking away, sometimes buying in and leaving only with a $1 chip. Some of them I've acquired through promotion deals/coupons, match play, etc.......those are, in a way, the best because i won them and didn't pay for them. I am known here in SLC's poker scene above and under ground as "The Chip Guy"....so naturally , the dearest of friends always bring back a chip for my collection, (even if the chips are duplicates). a couple of sellers on eBay would definitely recognize my name. and of course , members here on PCF have contributed singles to the ever-growing collection. and last but not least, time and the drive to want them.....believe it or not, the collection you see in the photos is that of only two years in the making. Prior to that my collection was just a fraction of that and unfortunately was stolen from my home. thank you everybody for looking and thank you to this wonderful forum.
