On a side note, I just got done consolidating/rotating my chip display cases. I can tell you that I was able to get up to 7 chips (in some rare instances) into the rows, with slight overlapping,.. They were still able to nestle into the channel, and are fairly secure. 6 works better, and 5 across is perfect. 7 looks a tad crowded, but you can see the chips just fine. I just found that I had a number of sets with 6 or 7 chips in them, and wanted them to be on the same row.
Most of my displayed chips are custom sets and casino sets. I had dedicate 3+ cases to individual chips I've collected $1's, $5's, $25's and $100's from misc casinos. 5 of my cases are ASM/
CPC custom sets, or Paulson casino sample sets. I'll have to go through and snag some pics of the chips, and post.
I feel very fortunate to have accumulated so many fine sample sets in such a short few years of chipping. Some amazing examples of custom artwork and spot design! I can go a long time without looking at the chips, then every once in a while, I'll start looking at them, and before you know it, 30 minutes has gone by.
I also realized that I now have many (several racks) duplicate Paulson and ASM chips. I think I'll be try to let some of these go in the near future.
Anyone wanting to jump start their chip collection with an assortment of Paulson and ASM/
CPC samples (collectables and custom chips), stay tuned!
