Awesome news, Jim! Only 1hr 15 mins from me. I will help you sort your next Penske batch. I'm Penske material. I hear there are a couple of good cigar lounges around there too. Easy day trip for me. Welcome to Tar Heel country you Wolverine! Heck we may be in the same conference soon.

I’m about 1.5 hours from Pinehurst, would be down for anything. Poker, golf, or both.

I was a +1.6 in college at my best, now probably a 3 or 4 but haven’t played anything at except for No. 1 as far as Pinehurst itself. Love Mid Pines and Pine Needles though!

I hope to join you in a few years when I retire. Love the Sandhills area. So much good golf even if you never set foot at the actual resort (I mean you will but you get the point.)

My buddies and I come every year. If you haven’t played Tobacco Road then make sure you get out there.

We will be moving into Talamore and will have a membership to Talamore and Mid South

Tobacco Road is on my list, along with Pine Needles, Mid Pines, Dormie Club and Southern Pines

First 4 are all great. Last time we played Southern Pines is wasn’t in good shape at all.

Don’t let them lie to you at Dormie Club when they sat there is no OB anywhere on the course. Well technically I guess that is true, but if you hit it far enough off the property you have to play it as OB.
 
I will miss the quick Utah shipping. :D Good luck, been scoping out warmer weather myself for when I retire.
