What is this "seller's remorse" you people mention?

I guess I'm an outlier again -- I'd keep the PCAs. Not a TRK fan in general (though I do have one set), and the Palais do nothing at all for me.

I do like the Noirs, since I like the colors and spots from top to bottom -- unlike the Worlds, where I like only the 100s down; and the NPSs, where I can't stand the $1s and $5s. But still, they're a Paulson home set, not ex-casino.

So I'd keep the PCAs and Noirs, and dump the rest. Even though I sold my Noirs years ago...talk is cheap.

I wonder if the Paulson home sets appeal more to people who have been into chips for a long time. I've been paying attention to chips for less than a year, so I'm trying to piece the history together.
Is it safe to say that 10, 15, 20 years ago, casino chips weren't very widely available, so the best chips a collector could easily amass were the Paulson home chips?
If that's the case, I can understand their appeal to people who have been into chips for a decade or two.
From my perspective, the biggest thing that distinguishes Paulson home chips from their casino counterparts is their premium price. So they don't appeal to me at all, but I can understand why they'd appeal to somebody who was lusting for them 15 years ago.
Is any of this speculation on target?
