I can’t wait until my own, completely original City of Dusk CPC set arrives…
They're 60+ year old chips and hard to find I think. @Spinettis Gaming has a single for sale for $95 on their site: https://spinettisgaming.com/products/tahoe-nugget-casino-lake-tahoe-nevada-5-chip-1962How do I obtain the Nugget Quarterpie? Where is it from, what's the name? I searched for Nugget, as well as in combination with Tahoe, but could not find anything in the forum nor classifieds.

That chip is somewhat rare and therefore somewhat expensive -- there's one on eBay for $115 right now:

Oh and btw, the fellas over in Copenhagen don't speak german, it's in Denmark. Idk if this was intentional or some sort of inside joke, but thought I'd clear this detailPlaying with these chips reminds me of that time when I visited Copenhagen a few years ago. Little known fact that I just made up, the locals refer to Copenhagen as “The City of Dusk.” At least I think they do. I don’t know for sure because I don’t speak German.
Anyways, the colors at dusk there are just inspiring. Check out how they reflect off the water:

I’ve tried to capture this in my next set, the City of Dusk:

Thanks goes out to @TheOffalo for really capturing the essence for me.

I’m now seriously debating if I should ditch the idea of making addons to my cash set and get a DSQ set instead…
These are sooo original! I love them. Can we do a Group Buy?Playing with these chips reminds me of that time when I visited Copenhagen a few years ago. This is called Getting ahead of the curve! Nice pickup!
Justin said these were going to be an option on next month's Group BuyThese are sooo original! I love them. Can we do a Group Buy?
The sticker-shock certainly hit when I tallied up the set after finishing (wanted to build without that as a limiting factor), but since it's a 'forever set' and was always going to be my largest and/or only* CPC set, it was ultimately an easy hump to get over. Plus, the hub $5 is a classic, as is 4D14.But that $5 is so obnoxious, because the hub mold looks so damn good on it, and I know that shape is way more expensive than any other shape and you went for it on your most common denom anyway.
Still loving it! I could look at City of Dawn Pron for days So far away from anything I would have ever created and absolutely love it. *Of course, I have another set on the way in the next couple months. All round inlays.
...and pron because why not if I'm posting here...

It certainly looks like a set that was put together with no budget restrictions. So hot!
