So...When I was selling an ES Cash set, Nav was interested in some beautiful ES fracs. He paid me and everything...then I got a full price offer for the whole set.

:banghead:

I told Nav about the situation, and he was VERY understanding. I told him that I would make it right, and find him some ES fracs. And I did. @liftapint did me a HUGE :wow: favor and brought them to the Chateau de Noix meetup, and handed them off to @Gear who lives in Nav's neighborhood. All was well...and I felt slightly less like a douche for bailing on our deal.

We've been PCF friends ever since. :)

Don't think we've personally interacted before, but I've seen pics of your awesome chips all over the forums! Super nice stuff haha

Always fun to interact with you Nav!!! My memory is when you posted your first TRK set. It was a sight to behold!

IN - Fellow Canuck, wish our ducks were aligned sooner, sure I coulda snagged those HSI Chips for ya!

I know you from that time we teamed up with the Scooby Doo gang and the Harlem Globetrotters to figure out that the Ghost of Basketball Jones was really the janitor, old man Randall Jeeves, all along. He would have gotten away with it too, if it hadn’t been for us meddlesome kids.

[No one said the stories had to be true.]

I don't think we've interacted, but I definitely see your posts everywhere and in a good way!

You were one of the first to reach out and offer your help and suggestions when I was first getting my Jack set together. A few sales in between and you're one of the most active PCF'ers that have helped me out in more than a few ways to fill in gaps for my sets. All the best through all of this, and thanks for the chance!

Well. I know Nav works alot of night shifts, he loves his Jack's, he's spent alot of time building those, and would love a set of BTPs. He has a rack of yellow fracs we worked together on to keep a solid dibs in a messed up thread...hope I see them again one day :)
And I think I once threatened to burn his yard. Other than that, we talk periodically just to keep tabs and stay in touch

Trying to only enter giveaways for stuff I really want, but the mystery prize gets me every time. In please.

Jeevansluck joined not too long after I did, and while I was still mostly on china clays, he jumped in head first, dropping big coin on a bunch of grail sets. I think I sent him a PM trying to warn him he was paying crazy prices for Jacks, and told him I’d give him dibs at Chiproom prices if I ever sold my Jack GOs. Fast forward a year-and-a-half, and while he still has dibs, they do not appear to be necessary: he has acquired 4 racks!

He also graciously offered to send me a single that I had mistakenly tossed. Much appreciated, but not necessary - it’s not worth the postage it would take to send it.

His positivity and enthusiasm are assets to this forum.

you did the first giveaway that I participated in. I did not win but you still sent me something! I feel that even if I don't win this one Ill still get something ahah I joke of course. thx for your generosity!

I’m pretty sure we had a dust up or two back in the day, unless it was with someone else (my memory is foggy at the best of times). I also try to forget past issues and move on. We’ve done at least one or two deals that worked out very well, and now I’m mostly jealous of the awesome chips you get to own.

If I happen to win, I want the prize to go to the next Canadian in line.

Nav was the first to reach out to me when I arrived and offered some much needed guidance. Will always appreciate his welcoming spirit and enthusiasm to this hobby.

Wicked response!

@hdgeno , we did have a dust up. I was very much in the wrong. You only were speaking truth. Haahah

I was new and impatient. I've come to admire you and our dealings and interactions have been stellar. Would be a a dream to play cards and talk bikes man!

Amazing responses here. Love it!!! Thanks to everyone who responded. Very uplifting and these days, it's tough to feel good but this thread did the trick...

I've updated the 2nd post with a pic of the loot. Late tonight or early AM, I'll cut off entries and make "The 8".

Regards to everyone and PCF!

I might be too late to jump in, but I still want to commend you - you've always seemed to be a fair person to me. In!

I don't know you at all, but you seem like a nice guy and I often read your name when people shout out good deeds

My first interaction with Nav was when I was selling some chips and listed the sale as conus. A Canadian approached me wanting to buy some, but I had never shipped to Canada before and did not know what to do. I had never spoke to Nav before that, but I had seen his posts and knew he was very friendly, helpful, and most importantly Canadian so I reached out to him for assistance. As you would guess he got back to me with a full informative write up on shipping to Canada. Not only did he help me out in that situation, but he helped out all his fellow Canucks being that my sales are no longer conus and I am now willing to ship things internationally now. Never would’ve happened if it wasn’t for Nav. Kudos to all that you do sir!

Not trying to enter the giveaway, but I would like to honor a friend with a few words....

Nav, your kindness and genuine excitement for the hobby drew me in like a tractor beam. You are a kindred spirit.

I feel a closer friendship to you than any other person who I have never met (along with plenty of other people who I've actually met face-to-face). We share a childlike, overindulgent love for chipping and have shared many moments and deals putting together our Jack Detroit sets. Anyway, chipping and life wouldn't be the same without you @Jeevansluck.

Too many stories to tell about your kindness, but my favorite one is this gift. Means the world to me.

Merry Christmas! God bless my friend.
