At long last I'm ready to pull the trigger on my MSK plaque and jeton order. As promised I'm opening it up to anybody who is interested in a few for their collection.
I've got two items being ordered. The first is a rounded rectangular (82x57mm, approx 3.22 x 2.25 inches) $20 plaque:
The second is a 51mm (approx 2 inch) "High Hand" Jeton:
As some of you know, MSK charges a flat $30.00 handling fee for each piece of artwork when ordered in quantities less than 100. Since I am ordering these regardless of group interest I am going to absorb those costs rather than distribute among the orders. Likewise, my bank charges a flat wire transfer fee that I have to pay regardless so I will also absorb that.
Based on the preliminary shipping quote from MSK, the shipping to me is approximately $0.039/gram. Plaques weigh 30 grams so roughly $1.18. Jetons weigh 9 grams so $0.35.
Pricing is as follows:
Plaque cost:
$4.27 per plaque + $1.18 MSK Shipping = $5.45 each
Side insert color: UP FOR DISCUSSION - Leaning towards green since that's a fairly common $20/$25 chip color. The speedcloth is red so that's the easy way out but contrast isn't all bad.
Serial Numbers: Each plaque will be serialized in the format of 1116## where ## is the unique number, starting with 01.
Jeton cost:
$2.98 per jeton + $0.35 MSK Shipping = $3.33 each
Side insert color: UP FOR DISCUSSION - Currently black
I should be able to use USPS First Class envelope pricing which seems only slightly higher for Canadian addresses.
If you're interested, please let me here know by Monday, August 15th @ 2200 GMT. I'll then contact each person by PM to figure out shipping based on your particular location and arrange payment. For now I just need to know item(s), quantity and your preference for side insert color, if any (per above). Choices are: Yellow, Red, Black, Blue, Green, White. Please note that the side insert color will be the same for all plaques (and likewise for the jetons), so they can't be customized to each buyer.
