Hey All,
I work for a bank in Canada and occasionally we come across some interesting coins. I've been working on getting coin protectors and using them as card cappers. Has anyone else done anything like this before? I have nothing of large value just what I find interesting.

If there is interest I can post about the history of each coin. They're mostly newly minted coins for King Charles III. Also bottom right is one of the nickel based silver dollars, not one of the 80% silver silver dollar. I wouldn't be tabling one of those LMAO

i've been doing this for years. I still have a 1943 Walker half dollar that went to Vegas years ago. Right now, I've put my silver back in the safe and pulled out my copper coins. 1 oz. and 2 oz. replicas of old US coins.

I'll see if I can drag them out for a couple of pics.

That'd be cool. This happens to a lot of tellers like me. All of a sudden I get this desire to collect coins when you start seeing cool ones all the time lol

I have a few that I use - some trinkets, some worthwhile. A few examples - a poorly minted silver commemorative from Malta; a old style slot machine dollar; and the medalion from a WWII civilian defense medal (British)

There are all sorts of commemorative "silver dollars" minted worldwide. Have fun exploring the options.
