So was up at Blackhawk in Colorado the other day and saw that one of the casinos has Paulsons in play.

I haven't seen any Colorado chips up here on PCF, is there a reason why?
I kind of like them, what do other people think?
Is there a reason no one harvests in Colorado?

Been wondering how difficult these would be to obtain? Think it should be easy, more about getting someone to go there.

I've never been down to Cripple Creek, but it's less than 3 hrs driving for me. I wonder if those are still in play/circulation?

I went through Black Hawk and went into pretty much all of the casinos in Black Hawk, (not Central City though) - and only one place is actually using Paulsons now, even though many used to. So Cripple Creek could be the same. Also, no fracs unfortunately.

Colorado has alot of small casinos in BlackHawk, & Cripple Creek and down in Sky Ute too.
A few years ago I went through and collected samples from 10 or 15 of them. I'd post pics but they are
all in storage back in Florida. Almost all are really nice chips but I remember that most of them are Chipcos
(including the MidnightRose).
And back then there were still 8 or so poker rooms. Now I think there are only 5 left.
I'm heading over to the MidnightRose tomorrow. Maybe I'll pick up another sample.

I just looked up my old eBay ad from when I sold half the Colorado samples.
Apparently I have 30 Colorado chips!

Oh wow, I guess I didn't make it into that one! Are those in circulation now?

Yes they are live, but no poker room so hard to get in large qty....... I played craps to get 4-5. But the great thing is they are near mint.......
I’ve had more than one person request some racks of them but that would be difficult to say the least.... :(

Another one that I like is from a closed Central City Casino:

This 1$ chip from the OP looks awesome. Great relable candidate with that nice spot pattern, and they look to be in very good shape.

Cripple Creek is a nice little tourist/casino town. I've walked past the Midnight Rose but didn't get to go in. If you're there, go check out the Jail Museum! It's really cool.

I don’t know how the OP got that one but they are 99% bicycle tires at this point. They probably fit 22/barrel in a Paulson rack..... :(

The one time I played there I was super concerned they were going to short people on cashouts by doing the typical rack check with worn to hell chips that fit more than 20 per barrel.

Love the Red Dolly's too. Grabbed about a dozen long time ago and always swore was gonna go up and work on getting a bunch, but never got around to it.

But this is one of my fav Colorado chips.

Nice on getting some Red Dolly 1s before. Do you have any of those Bullwhackers too? That's a great looking 5! Maybe the most humorous.

I've got one $5 and one $1...... was sooo long ago when that Bullwhackers poker room was open. Think it may have been 20 years ago or so. Was long before this chip illness took root in my bloodstream. Kicking myself now, as I love those chips. Knowing what I know know, would have loaded up!
