The web and greek hybrids are Tina ceramics. The consensus seems to be they're better than the card mold or textured no mold in most ways.
ETA: I haven't played with them much myself yet, just what I've gathered from reading over all the threads that come up under "new posts" since I joined.
I’ve heard that Tina’s ends up having a lot of spinners, is that an issue that is very common? Also are china clays just not regarded as good? I’ve heard a lot of positive and negative things about it
I have a few spinners in my textured no mold set. It’s only an issue if you are constantly shoving barrels in as a bet. I don’t think it’s that much of an issue in my experience.
The nickels were HSI and the quarters were Lady Luck. The $1 chips I got from the classifieds were Detroit MGM Grand (btw I had no idea at the time I was basically committing a PCF felony to have a mixed set that used different molds, lol).
I mean, I've started planning a set that's one mold per denom on purpose. Unsure yet if I want them to be from the same source within a denom or rat rod each one so long as the mold matches the one I'm using for that denomination.
When you say web or Greek hybrid, is it still a ceramic? I tried finding reviews on these chips and could not find any. How do webs or Greeks compare to Tina’s card mold or no molds? Or br poker?
Yes they are mostly ceramic. Instead of a single sub dye printed chip its a sub dye printed chip with an actual label on it.
The reason you arent seeing nearly as much on them is they are still relatively new. But they are hands down better than the cards and no mold, in both feel and sound. I have a set of web molds I just finished and IMO I like them better than CPC and Paulsons. Most people wouldnt agree with me on that, but they will agree that the ceramic hybrids (greek and web mold) are the best until you get to actual clay chips (CPC and Paulsons).
If you go to Broken Arrow Cardroom's vendor page I think he is still selling samples of the greek and web molds I recommend on getting a lot of samples to figure out what you really want. That's the best way to do it.

The cards mold have had some reports of spinners, but the no-mold has more. I’d say they can be as much as 5-10% spinners, based on the 1,800 I have.
The Tina hybrid ceramics (web, Greek, etc.) have no spinners in my experience.
Agreed. I had a set of no mold through a GB and have plenty of samples of cards mold. The new molds through Tina are game changers on that front. Group buys for the win with the new molds.
