I search similar chips like the chips from The Lodge.

Can someone help me? And the material?

Yep, this is correct. Their current branding has shifted to card club, which probably helps with SEO and discovery, but all of their materials were made under the social club branding.

I'll just throw my opinion out here...I'm a huge fan of Neeme, Polk, Owen, and the Lodge live streams...but I'm just not a fan of these chips ever since I first saw them. I think it cheapens the place a bit at least from a view from my seat. That would be one of the first changes I would think about making if I gained ownership of that place.

Yes. Generally speaking, they’re good looking chips. But they’re pretty much knockoffs (or at least more of the same) which is fine for home games, but not cool for an actual poker room.

At least they’re not doing relabeled claysmiths, but yeah, definitely unworthy a card room

Agreed and agreed. But we are the most critical on everything chips.

They are using relabeled mass market Monte Carlo Poker Room chips in one of their tournament sets...grabbed from Polk's IG page.

Interested in some more info and close-ups of those oversized tourney chips  . I snipped this pic from the Lodge's IG page covering Alain Bauer's LCS Main Event win .

Are we getting trolled by someone trying to make copies of the lodge chips? I don’t know why some of these card rooms don’t get more secure chips. It shocks me they haven’t been defrauded yet.

My WAGs on the situation (wild ass guesses)

1. Private poker clubs and their legality is currently under some mild debate so maybe a lot of these Texas rooms will not fully invest in chip security until it's resolved. https://guides.sll.texas.gov/gambling/poker-clubs

2. Chip security, least importantly tournament chip security is totally off their radar and is a glaring blind spot in their operations. :wow:

3. It's a known operational concern and The Lodge management is on top of it and efforts are in place to resolve the potential vulnerability moving forward.

Yep, ceramic chips like EPT. When they expanded they ordered more chips so there are some older ones that are more worn and faded in play with the newer chips. Hate the chips but the action there is hard to resist

That whole final table set is different. Dunno why they swapped out chipsets for the final table but they did

Here’s best I can see of the T500k, T1M, look like 50 mm

Well, that could be a security measure. Swap chips at inflection points in a tourney so scammers can’t be as prepared.
That…or they needed those chips for their Tuesday night freeroll…

Texas card rooms run a little strange. I think Lodge does actual bags for the multi day tournaments, but the one here just counts your chips, dealer/floor verify and sign the paper, and then someone prepares starting stacks for day 2 (that part sounds brutal and ripe for error). No bags involved.

The lodge spends as much on their chips as they do their production team. I've yet to watch a stream of theirs where it either didn't:
1.) have incorrect graphics for a part of the stream
2.) lose graphics for a period of the game
3.) completely go down during the biggest hand of the night.

it's amateur hour there compared to Hustler. Audio for the players is terrible and Skull Mike (I think) talks constantly about the "lodge-Mahal"

It's probably some sort of code for "I profit off of other people's intellectual property".
Is this a dig at the chinese knockoff chips? Or at The Lodge? Just wondering if I'm missing something

The knock on production quality isn't fair just yet. Their chipsets? Yes, that's fair.

They don't have a full fledged casino budget. No table games, no ability to sell alcohol...The Lodge is working on a new streaming studio space so give them a chance to show some innovative spirit and desire to grow and improve the product. I personally enjoy Slick Rick and Skull Mike on the live calls. They are very engaged in the livestreams with the viewer chats too.

Some of the TX card rooms do/did have a TABC license (tch houston, the late champions in Houston, I’m sure there are others)…wonder why they aren’t pursuing one

Considering the amount they're pushing that stream, I think it's totally fair to point out the fact their stream almost never works properly.

When they get a new studio then I'll re-evaluate, but until then, the production team is subpar, the audio of the players is terrible, and the announcing is annoying imo. I think the other day I counted 4 mystery hands in the first 20 minutes. They just aren't up to par yet, I think they'll get there with Polk, Owen and Neeme backing it. When the bloggers are frustrated that streams are going down, things will change.

And for the record it was Slick Rick who's the annoying one, not Skull mike. I mean... it's easy to confuse when you have two grown men using their XBOX gamertags to introduce themselves. :ROFLMAO:
