Could someone help me with these chips from The Lodge Card Club? (1 Viewer)

Considering the amount they're pushing that stream, I think it's totally fair to point out the fact their stream almost never works properly.

When they get a new studio then I'll re-evaluate, but until then, the production team is subpar, the audio of the players is terrible, and the announcing is annoying imo. I think the other day I counted 4 mystery hands in the first 20 minutes. They just aren't up to par yet, I think they'll get there with Polk, Owen and Neeme backing it. When the bloggers are frustrated that streams are going down, things will change.

And for the record it was Slick Rick who's the annoying one, not Skull mike. I mean... it's easy to confuse when you have two grown men using their XBOX gamertags to introduce themselves. :ROFLMAO:
At the Lodge-mahal UNDER THE LIGHTS!!!

Yea I hate that part of his announcing too.

Well said… As a local, I can say I am very disappointed/embarrassed with the stream production at the lodge & find it hard to watch. Same with TCH (Austin).

More Lodge chips.

Want i find weird with the chips from the lodge, is the fact that the 25 and 100 chip have a dollar sign and the 1 and 5 do not..
Design error or on purpose?

The 25 and 100 are a newer design. They replaced the old design which you still see on the 5 and 1.

Texas Poker Supply made the newest Versions of the chips from $25 - $25,000.
Those are a specific ceramic blend, not from China or overseas.
Super bright colors, super dark blacks.
They decided to take chip security seriously.
Is that process available to us randos as well?

I'll just throw my opinion out here...I'm a huge fan of Neeme, Polk, Owen, and the Lodge live streams...but I'm just not a fan of these chips ever since I first saw them. I think it cheapens the place a bit at least from a view from my seat. That would be one of the first changes I would think about making if I gained ownership of that place.
I agree with you.

The same chip is available.
They start at $2.50 a chip 3000 minimum.
I'm new to this so please forgive me if I am off base... Does that cost include the security aspect or is the security aspect built into the chip simply because it's hard to get the ceramic blend right and you need to be willing to pony up at least $7,500 for a set. I dunno how many home games need more than 1k chips, but that seems wild to me (in terms of quantity) for us randos.

This includes the security aspect, as well as the secure shipping, (Not USPS, UPS, FED ex, DHL etc.)
The entire chip is US made, so the labor and the actual chip itself cost more than buying it overseas.

This secure chip was 100% designed for clubs.
The high quantity entry is nothing to the clients that would want this type of security.
Its secure from design to delivery.
Most home games do not need this level of security.

We did this because we felt a secure chip was a need for the poker clubs here that wasnt being met.

We are in Texas and for forever the clubs were not concerned with security of chips.
The clubs here used Monte Carlos (They called them clays) , Hot stamped Striped Dice chips (Called them clays) , Stickered Brybelly chips (Called them clays), it was the wild west out here.

@Nick@TPS Gotcha and love that you can build it into the chip. So, what about the at-home knockoff versions just looking for the awesome bright colors on chips, a similar design but in lower quantities? Is a 500-1k chip run too small to be worth your time or does it turn out to have a super high cost?

We are working on 3 regular ceramic custom Lodge looking sets right now.
We cannot get them as bright or use any lodge trademarks.
We have a 1000 chip minimum for those chips.
You say you cannot use any lodge trademarks- does that include the spade with the club inside of it? I'm looking to order some custom ceramics similar to the lodge's from you guys but I would want that signature logo on them. logo for reference:
