Hi gang...

I'm very curious if anyone has ever purchased ceramic chips from CPC and opinions, reviews on them would be appreciated.

http://www.classicpokerchips.com/pokerchips/ceramicpokerchips.htm

Specifically these look interesting...
39mm hybrid construction, 3mm thick, with inlaid printed and laminated center

Prices seem comparable to BR Pro...
1000+ custom chips are $1.05

1000+ custom are .95 at CPC
1000+ custom hybrid thing is $1.37

Prices are with aligned edge spots only.

Inlaid printed and laminated center...what's that mean exactly? Anyone have chip examples?

Thanks for playing!

Never seen their work on ceramics. I’ve thought about buying their 44mm octagon chips, but I never placed an order.

I have samples of these. I would not purchase these. Pro: rough face, stack nicely. Cons: Side is super slippery and plasticy, like a worse BR Pro. I am generally not a fan of that, combined with the rough matte face its a very weird combo. This also creates a kind of weird burr at the edge of the face at the transition between the two textures. These also have very obvious injection spots which are a "no" for me. Lastly, there's like those two profiles with ceramic chip edge shapes which can epitomized with Matsuis. You can have super sharp square edges like Emerald Bays or the rounded smooth edges like Radissons. These are like kind of a weird combo that's slightly round but then has a weird slant in that creates like little ridges in a stack of them that I don't really like. Similar shape to Chipcos but because of the lip between face and edge material its harsh. Lastly, you can see in the photo that one of the edges looks is slanted. That's the no mold sample chip, the edge actually is kind of slanted, meaning one face is just a bit larger diameter than the other. Noticeably so when feeling the chip. All in all, these feel quite low quality to me and I can't see a single reason to buy these over BR Pro, SunFly, Tinas or old Chipcos. Except, that the face is a very nice rough texture. I actually could list more things I dislike about these but that seems unecessary.

So ya.

I love CPC, I love their clay product. I imagine they don't sell many of these because we never hear about them but I wouldn't encourage any one to.

Thank you! Great info.

I was just told in another thread that CPC actually uses SunFly for their ceramic orders.

Either way, I just got BR Pro (semi-custom) and I am pretty pleased with the results.
I will stick with them for ceramics in the future.
