CPC custom: Pirate Circle - your opinion before weighing anchor! (1 Viewer)

Really well designed set of chips, can’t wait to see how it turns out. I think you’re making the right call with the $5 edge spots. I still do quite like your other $1 design! But I understand why the one you chose has a ‘skull and bones’ feel to it when you rotate it to how it is.

I love the design of these! Big fan of the $5. Fun to see the progression of the design too. And those renderings really help to visualize. Those chips on that table will be awesome!

Last but not least, here is the Tournament plain no mold version!

Inspiration for this design owes everything to an old custom CPC (or ASM?) project by dew4au on the blue wall (don't think he is a member here).
I think it was designed by machinelf (don't know why I can tag him).
It's always been one of my favorite custom set.
Those are old pictures, I'm not sure who to credit.

Well you all helped me a lot.
But now there are a lot of options :)
Here's where I'm at.

Version 1A:
nothing new here.

Version 1B:
Using a skull as $1, a diver for the $20, and trying a blue NCV.

Version 1C:
Switching anchor & helm for a more coherent spot progression.

Version 1D:
Another spots variation on .25/$1

Then I tried a different path and designed a second version with "Cercle Pirate" on a straight line.

Version 2A:
Using the same boat on all chips, with waves designed on the same partern as my table cloth.

Version 2B:
Same wave design, using the original illustrations.

Version 2C:
No wave, just the illustrations with a cut.

My eyes are quite blurry now, I can't see which version works better...
Whatever you decide is there any chance I can get a sample set or two of these they're freaking awesome!
