i don't have anyone in Vegas who can get these for me, so feel free. I'd rather someone from the forum get em than some rando.

I'm fairly certain ASMs. I seem to recall there were a few vendors (online) in the early 2000's that had custom molds and such that had ASM manufacture chips under their brand. This one is www.pokerchips.com. I haven't searched exhaustively. This is a very good deal regardless.

I'm visiting Vegas in a month... A few weeks too late, I'll wager. :(

There was a cell number listed and as everyone has figured these are ASM's. All the Poker Stars inlays. I have a tentative deal in place for the gal to ship. She wanted to do a money order, huge red flag so she is attempting to get her "roommates" PayPal info. Interesting to see how this plays out.

Dang, I was out there this weekend and was all over the craigslist adds. Of course this comes out after I get home. Haaa...

I hope it all works out. Hopefully it is packaged well.

Well it was a quick process. I offered to pay half and half once I had confirmation they shipped seller said ok. Sent PayPal and then 40 min later got a refund and was told buy the seller that her husband didnt feel comfortable proceeding.

Oh well at least I didn't get taken.

was told buy the seller that her husband didnt feel comfortable proceeding because he had since received an offer for 3x what she had originally asked.

^^ fyp. My guess, anyway.

If I were the seller... and someone was willing to pay approx half of what I was asking for the item... just to ship it to "how the hell did you see my ad"... I would reevaluate my selling price too.

Why didn't you just send payment as a vendor payment? For the extra $2 or less you could dispute the transaction if anything happened.

Guess I need to learn more about PayPal. Had no idea this was an option...

Yeah I'm not excepting half payment now and rest on delivery unless I know you personally. Not surprised they cancelled.

Btw it's not a dig at you Aces, just some risk involved on their end also.

Anything is possible.

I could understand if I was asking for that but was willing to pay the other half once I got a tracking number. Wasn't expecting to get delivery before paying the other half. This is/was a steal either way. Just wanted to have a little protection. Mind you its only $50 but its still $50.

The seller asking for a money order was a dead give away for a scam so I was a bit leery on sending full payment.

Yeah but they also can't cancel take the package back after it's been sent.

Sorry guys. I just nabbed them. $48 shipped for the chips. I didn't need the case or the other stuff. Buyer seemed very nice over text. Offered me some other chips but they were the typical crappy ones everyone on Cragislist tries to sell. I'll post pix when they arrive.

For $50, this should have been a instantly-pull-the-trigger no-brainer - that's an incredible 17c each plus shipping, and sometimes you just have to roll the dice and accept a little risk before the deal fades away. The only reason they aren't already on their way here is respect for the potential buyer as a fellow PCF'er.

And that's how you do it. (y) Hope it works out for ya.

I'm sure it will. She already sent me pictures of the chips being wrapped up. Aces and I will talk once I get the chips.

@$3/chip those seem very high. Even with negotiation probably not a great deal.

That's my thought. Unlikely to get him down to $1 a chip... An at that price, it's unlikely to be a good flip... But someone who wants some vintage Lcrowns... Maybe they'd be interested.
