5% of your inlays should have dicks on them. Just enough to randomly fuck with people.
Time for a small add on.
David can send you a box of dicks.
What about growth??
Would really need to see a sample to actually critique the set.
ps. I love the concept of this critique thread
I almost always have a preference for small inlays, and picking the inlay size was one of my toughest decisions. In the end I felt I had a lot going on with the animals and didn't want to lose detail by going too small. Are we talking about the same thing? This is a pr0n thread, not a porn thread.
Personal preference - I think I would have gone down in label inlay size - show off a little more clay. Therefore you only get a 9/10...garbage...
Sound reasoning, but wrong.I almost always have a preference for small inlays, and picking the inlay size was one of my toughest decisions. In the end I felt I had a lot going on with the animals and didn't want to lose detail by going too small.
I'm super happy with mine too, but I think it's fun to have some open discussions about these things. I agree with some of the suggestions and don't agree with others, but then we all think differently so that makes sense.Agreed. It's informative. I am happy with my custom set and happy to have mine follow any critique after Perth's set. I can already imagine what people would say, I already know I'd change the edge spots on my $5 lol
I think you could've made a 7/8" inlay work without much compromising as I'm also not a fan of larger inlays. But, I also don't like inlays that don't occupy all of the space within the inner ring... seems unfinished to me. I do prefer the inlay size you chose based on the mould selected. I can't say anything negative about your inlay though... it's the feckin' nuts! I agree with others about swapping the white and grey chips as well as the spot selection seeming a little repetitive from the $5 upwards. Minor nitpicks though... still one of my all time favourite sets.I still don't think I'd switch to 7/8 inlays.
Thanks everyone for all for the thoughts. @mashoo looks like you want to step up to the plate and get roasted next . Love you set btw.
^^ this. Plus they all suck. It’s CPC.
You obviously couldn't do it at the time, but the large crown mold would have been awesome on this set and the $1 would have been cool with tri-moon spots.
Personally I think I may have gone for a yellow base on the $5 (though butterscotch looks awesome) and maybe a mandarin red spot instead of pink.
- The spot pattern between the $5 and $20 doesn't truly progress like the 25c->1->5.
- The pink on the $5 blends in and isn't as dynamic, to be fair - it looked like it would pop a little more on the CPC mock up.
- If the Ewing mold wasn't for casino use only, that could have been a nice choice. I also think the diamond square mold could have looked really good for this set that focuses on shapes.
This set is perfect.Well here it is lol

Right off the bat, I imagine most wouldn't like such a simple inlay and if I could do it over, I'd change the edge spots on my 5 since it's very similar to my 20.
Roast away lol
Mold Elephant and Crown would have been perfect for this set / theme.
Can’t help I never received my sample set.
This set is perfect.
All that matters is you like themI'm not putting either of my sets on here for you guys to rip apart. I already know that most don't like solids as a cash set, If you hate on my bourbons it will make me sad lol
Those chips look GREAT in stacks and in play!
Edit: Whoops, I forgot what thread this was. Shit, they look like total Shit!
Also @mashoo what do you use to take such shitty pics at the table like that? All my in game pics look fantastic compared to these. I wish my action shots would look this shitty.
