I don’t think you can murder them. They are giant inlays. They are faux edge spots. You may be able to overlabel but not sure how good of a result you could get.So its generally frowned upon to murder these ones right? I'd have bought 2 racks to murder earlier, but I'd feel awful based off of how rare these seem to be, so I let the same members have at them.

Yah that’s by far the longest owned set I have adding on for 10+ YearsI can see why you'd want to! I've never owned a set for a shorter amount of time than when I owned Crystal Parks (and that's saying something!). I disliked the inlay even more in person than I did on the screen.
Thank goodness there are chips for everyone's tastes!

I like the inlay design, just not the fact that it's giant inlay and printed spots. But the chips themselves I really like. The colors are great.
The secondary 5s may not do it for you when you realize the inlay covers the whole chip. Yep right to the edge. From the edge view you can actually see the inlay edge too. Same is true for secondary 1,2, and 3. Nice for a sample set but not good for play IMO.The 5s used to bug me a lot. It always felt like so much loss potential. Who goes and designs a beautiful yellow chip and only puts black edge spots?? Seemed like a lot of loss potential. The secondary 5s with the lavender and purple edge spots are hot, wish they mad more of those. But once I had these chips in hand and played with them I see what everyone was talking about. Especially once they are cleaned up, they just shine.
Scary part of this is that everyone says old school heavy leaded TRKs are the best you can get. Now I'm really curious and starting to understand. This is why I try to avoid getting samples of chips!
I was thinking about this as well. However, I noticed that oversized inlay chips are longer-wearing (slower to thin out) than normal inlay chips. That would be a fine reason to use them for the lower denomination chips. I think those plastic inlays are nearly indestructible. And it doesn’t even make sense why they did that. There was really no reason for it, and they only do it on three denominations (1s, 2s, and 5s).

Wow! Never noticed a chip like that. Durable. Is there a Paulson name for that inlay? I mean it’s not even an inlay - it’s an overlay!
I can take these abominations off your hands if needed.
