I told Sean to grab himself a sample set as he was packing up my box. Just throwing that out there. I hope that catches on.
I think that’s a great idea, but he would have to unwrap the barrels to do that, wouldn’t he? Might be easier on him if the end user just spent a few bucks to ship him a sample set.

I actually did mention that I would be happy to do that too. Great minds think alike. Whichever was easier.

Missing the bold outline was the main correction. What's the deal?
Bold outline makes the text visible.

The original outline was too thin and does not render well when printed on a chip.

Also the colors of the design were updated with pantone ones.

But I think @AnteAndy used the first color set.

On mine, looks like denominations need to be centered, especially the 500, and would like the "k" capitalized. Otherwise looks good to print.

Is the issue maybe that their software doesn't support the fonts used in these 5 files?

You should always “covert text to outlines” or objects when submitting artwork for print. It helps ensure the artwork is completely locked in for print. I helped a couple people with artwork and I apparently forgot to do it on some of the text on one of the sets. Fixed though. He is resending.

Is this something you can help me with? Or am I now too late?
Are you asking me? If so I am happy to help, but I would need the font file that you used. I would probably have the same problem Tina is having. You would need to open your project and your end and do this. It doesn't take long. What program did you use?

AI:
  • Select the Selection tool and click to select a text object.
  • Choose Type > Create Outlines to convert the text to editable paths.

Thanks for posting this. I'm a novice at AI and I've been learning as I go designing chips. When I saw that my files were on the naughty list I panicked bc I didn't know how to do this. But it seems easy enough. Although I'm not looking forward to editing 20 chips tonight :nailbite:

All my designs are in one file, is there an easy way to select all text on an artboard and do it all at once?

Sean I won't be able to work on these until late tonight, but hopefully I can send you new files tonight.

Yeah, just hold shift as you select different text groupings. Then you can covert them all at once. It should just take you 2-5min max.

My post was out of context. I meant, why didn't Tina use the correct art. I got worried because the bold outline made a huge difference, as well as the new colors! Thanks for your work !
