Can we have denominations printed on the rolling edge?
Yes.Can we have denominations printed on the rolling edge?
Hmmm....Yes.
It's your art BAYBEEEE!Hmmm....
How do people feel about denoms on the rolling edge? Only with chips that have the classic ceramic look and not modeled like clay chips?
But it requires a vendor you trust to print it vertically centered. If the vertical centering is inconsistent, it looks REALLY bad.I think text on the edge is an underused feature of ceramic printing on chips.

I guess the old saying applies, better safe than sorry. This scares me though. I'm planning on just a few extras. I am on a tight budget, but I know for most people here, the thought is they are only .30 per chip and in the chip world that's cheap, so it's a simple decision to add on a good amount of extras.Thinking about wanting to buy extras if some get misprinted/wonky and to have some extras if some get lost/what not. These are the qtys I'm thinking based off how many I want. At 0.30 a chip looking at $300.00 outlay.
Thoughts?

Don't re use the $5.My brief story.
I don't need new chips. Perfectly happy with my custom labeled Nexgen tourney set. Wanted a cash game set. Acquired some more Nexgen, and started updating my labels in AI for them. Then this thread showed up! I figured a cheap way to get a SMALL custom cash set...
My plan was to use Sean's artwork and just make simple changes to the text and some colors. I figured that can't be that difficult. I was wrong! I just couldn't get anywhere on my own. Lucky for me @Dodger offered his services. He has been awesome! I have a new appreciation for how many details there are to keep in mind! @Dodger pointed out some subtle things that make a real difference! Here's where I am thanks to @SeanGecko and him. It's a combination Cash/Tourney set where I would use the $5 and 25 cent for 5 and 25 chips in tournaments. Our tournaments blinds start at 10/20.

I've heard this advice before. Why?Don't re use the $5.
Or more they get dropped during the tourney and you think it's yours seeing it on the floor.someone pockets a few 5s from a tournament game they don't care about, shows up at a cash night an steals from the pool
Kinda why I'm just ordering 100 chips to add onto my cash set since I have a couple chips with nicks and misprinting. $25 for them so it's a great deal.I guess the old saying applies, better safe than sorry. Order both!
To piggy back. Also if you have 12-20 people spread over two tables For a tourney. it’s nice to have a separate set for those first few guys that get knocked out of tourney to start up a cash game.someone pockets a few 5s from a tournament game they don't care about, shows up at a cash night an steals from the pool
I think both are being ordered, these were done for a member here.Order both!
And I’ll take sample sets of each. Love them.
For my 600 cash set, I got the Apache 3800 and don't regret it one bit. It's a bit bigger but allows you to carry everything else in addition to chips. I get away with keeping 600 chips, 6 DBs, 4 decks of cards, a pair of dice, and some "high roller" plaques. If you *just* want to keep chips in the case, I'm sure the 2800 is just fine.Hey all. Newb to the forum here. Found my way down this rabbit hole real quick and decided to do it once and do it right and get a full seperate cash and T set!
I'm thinking Apache 2800 cases for sets of 600. Dimensions appear that this will fit.
Do any of the cheaper racks fit perfectly, from Amazon and such?
Both — pair of them too good to pick just the one!
I like the 500!My brief story.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate @timinater's attention to detail on the denomination font on the hundo, please?
At the bottom of the very first post on this thread, Sean listed some designers and a few seem to have space left.I’m way behind on this but I’m looking for someone to complete the artwork for me. It shouldn’t require too much work I have the chip design done and I plan on using the Golden Nugget design for an inlay. If someone could point me in the right direction for a designer and help with what file type is needed to get it done.
