Just getting a few samples made before we pay. Then we will get samples for each set made before we go into production. Tina is adamant about getting them right.

Making sure to get some of the dual sided ones printed off.

I'll send it to your messages the samples after we pay.
I'll update the thread as well so people can see what the progress is as well.

This is going to be a lot.

Honestly I can't think of anything. Currently the big thing is patience.
I'm doing my best and I have tried not leave anyone out.

And there was some hand holding on a few orders. I hope I didn't come off as too much of a dick.

Once I get shipping cost figured out. I'll be able to determine if we should do a single order of 70k+ plus cops or two orders of 35k+ chips.

Oh how much should I add on for shipping materials?

For reshipping, look up the costs for usps flat rate boxes. Weight does not matter for them, plus they come with $50 insurance, and tracking is included.

As far as packing materials to protect the chips; I’d guess an additional 1-2 dollars per order. Shrink wrap and bubble wrap.

All of you in Texas that have made orders let me know, maybe we can get them all shipped to one location from Sean, I could send a truck to pick them up from Sean, we(or 1 of us) go to Sean and pick up

May make sense for Oklahoma and West Louisiana as well

we have time and options, just throwing some ideas out

You can order all the flat rate boxes and flat rate padded envelopes shipped to you for $0 from USPS.com. For padding I always use the flat rate padded envelope (free :)). Get more tape than you think you’ll need (boxes can never have too much tape) but unless you’re printing postage from home, that’d probably be the only packing expense.

I went through almost 12 rolls of packaging tape. If I were you I'd go with 18 (they came in 6 packs when I bought them). Sam's club had a decent deal on them at the time.

Tape gun would have been sweet lol. I just used the plastic dispenser that came with the tape. It was a pain in the rear.

All I can say is boxes, boxes and more boxes. Order an obscene amount then order more. That's what I did but it still wasn't enough lol.

Order the maximum you can on these. SFRB make great padding and spacers inside LFRB for large orders. They fit perfectly bookending the chips. I used the boxes that China sent me as padding because it's worn out cardboard and it's good cushioning. Saves on buying filler material. Just tear the boxes into the size you need. Had the wife and kids doing that while I stuffed padded flat rate envelopes with chips to go in boxes.

Obviously dependent on the date once that rolls in, I'm more than happy to accompany and help drive.

Knowing how things are currently with my employment, I may be off work some over the fall & winter. (assuming we're not seeing these any time soon) I have family in Missouri & Iowa, so I was dead serious when I suggested ROAD TRIP a week or so ago. So I'd say there's probably a 50% chance I will be driving up to pick up mine, @BarrieJ3 and others in Texas. If so, I would be more than willing to bring back and deliver to anyone else close to the route from Omaha to Houston. So that would include Kansas City, Wichita, OK City, and DFW area. Plenty of room in my F-150.

Edit: Possibly St. Louis also.

By transaction fee, do you mean the tariff? If so, each person simply adds 15% to their chip cost. And yeah, the shipping from china comes in just under 3 cents a chip. Like within a few hundredths of a cent. Round it to 3 cents for each chip you bought and be done with it.
