Howdy long time lurker, love your felts, they're amazing. I'm about to buy a table from my local gaming supply store and noticed the custom felt artwork option.
Could I pay for you to make my crappy design look good so I could send it to them before they fabricate everything?

Card rooms around the world have no idea what they’re missing out on by not having a Chanman table. Fact, not opinion.
that 10.5-inch bet line makes limit games easier.... and I just think it looks cooler... the 6-7 inch bet lines kinda look like a thin racetrack to me... but you gotta admit, whatever the size... the quality of the print can't be beat!

We've had a change in the gaming suede material from the supply we've had for the last 2+ years. Going forward, this will be the new fabric.
I'll post a comprehensive comparison of the 2 fabrics side by side soon.

While I never experienced the previous supplier's material, I just got a felt made from the new stuff & to my initial perusal it looks & feels awesome to me.
I have a "winter project" coming up to build a "Final Table" for our legion tourneys, so I guess I had a case of good timing to get mine printed on the new felt.
I draped it over one of the Barrington tables at the hall to give it a look.... I'd say Tony knocked it out of the park if yer askin' me.
My camera & the florescent lighting makes the blue in the image look "brighter" than it really is... the actual color is more of a "Navy" than a "Royal" Blue.
The detail in the central image is incredible. You can actually read the words of the Constitution behind the eagle's head. The fact that I sent him a large 600dpi file may have helped that part. But still, to have that level of detail come out on a poker table felt is nothing short of amazing.
Here's the Sketchup screenshot of the table surface build that I'm doing. Kind of a "dual radius elliptical" for 9 players plus the dealer (me

OP has been updated with some new info. We have 2 new gaming suedes available for purchase. There's 4 options to choose from.
Home Game grade, smooth side
Home Game grade, fleece side
Casino Grade, smooth side
Casino Grade, fleece side.
The Casino grade and Home Game grades are very similar, the main differences are that the CG is more waterproof than the HGG, and it is whiter. The whiteness doesn't really matter though since it gets printed on anyway.
The CG smooth side is not as smooth as the HGG smooth side, but the card slide is the same as far as I can tell.
The CG fleece side is less fluffy than the HGG fleece side, but the CG fleece side has better card slide than the HG fleece side.
Card slide rating:
CG & HGG smooth sides, best
CG Fleece side, 2nd
HGG Fleece side, worst. Good enough for a dedicated dealer to pitch cards, but not for end to end dealing on an oval table.
Here is a video breaking down all of the details. I'm still working on improving my video recording system, so please bear with me with these crude video's as I get better.

Hmm...will have to do Casino Smooth for the roulette table, for sure. When it comes time to re-felt the poker table, likely will go Casino Fleece. We shall see.

Yours is the HGG smooth side.
Wouldn’t the fleece be better for roulette? I wouldn’t want little air hockey pucks flying all around a table that has chip tower bets all over it, lol.
Some scientific tests may be in order. But Tony's current rental table (which we've used quite often) seems to have a feel most similar to my blackjack table, which looks and feels absolutely smooth. No hint of pilling anywhere.
No, I was just meaning that bets in roulette are often little towers, placed in very specific areas. I wouldn't want them to glide anywhere if the table gets bumped, or even if someone was reaching and hits a bet.
