It's apparently the season for playing card group buys! Been in contact with a vendor in EU to get a decent-size order (30+ setups) of Dal Negro Grand Slam bridge/jumbo decks shipped to me in California.

I plan on placing the order very soon; no waiting until we hit a certain amount of interest. So these cards should arrive before some of the other GBs running. But it is a decent amount of money to front, so I'd love to have some buyers already lined up when they get here.

Price is $24 per "setup" (1 red deck, 1 blue deck) before reshipping.

Comment below with how many setups you'd be interested in. This is not a commitment to buy, but I will be using the order of comments to help determine "dibs" later, since quantities will be limited. (If interest is very high, then I may consider upping my order.)

Update 4/17/2025: Order has been placed.

This is our current count, in the order I received the comments

This is the Waitlist:

Here's the estimated reshipping costs from me to you, once I receive the cards:

1 Setup: $7
2-4 Setups: $10
5-8 Setups: $12

[Edit: Revised the reshpiping estimated cost due to a calculation mistake on my part. Reshipping 1 setup is $1 more than originally estimated. Reshipping 2 setups is now the same as the 3-4 setup cost, $2 more than originally estimated.]

I'll also be reshipping for @xdan's Fournier EPT/2826 GB as well. These should arrive sooner, but if anyone is in that GB too and want to combine shipping, I can always hold their Dal Negro decks until the Fourniers come in.

Continue to comment below if you're interested. I should be able to accommodate a few more orders!

Will they go lower if we order more?
The $24/setup ($12/deck) cost was based on my hopefully-conservative estimate. I didn't want to quote people one price and then have it end up being more... though I have no idea about tariffs, which can change on a whim, and I won't know how much until the shipment is about to be delivered.

The cost for the 30 setups / 60 decks I planned on ordering is just under $10/deck shipped to me, but that's before fees (PayPal international transaction fee, currency conversion fee, etc.). So I anticipate the final cost being slightly less than $11/deck shipped to me.

Going from 60 decks to 80 decks would reduce the cost by less than a dime per deck shipped. Going to 100 decks would reduce the cost by ~30¢/deck. So the savings are negligible. I'll probably stick with 60 decks unless we get a lot of interest.

The wildcard, as mentioned above, is whether I'll need to pay tariffs to accept delivery. If it's the 10% global rate that's currently in effect, then that's at least another dollar (per deck, $2+ per setup) that I'll have to add to the cost. (And the tariffs could go up before delivery...)

I think I'd jump my order up to 4 setups please, I really like the setups I have of these.

These are probably my favorite bridge cards.

I think the colors on the backs are not an exact match (but I'm not sure), though the pattern looks the same. Wonder if the stock is the same or similar.

Dal Negro does sell an actual setup (not two separate decks) of Grand Slams, but I've only seen them with the regular index 4-pip variety:

Updated OP with the current count and reshipping costs. Placing order this week, but continue to express interest below. Should be able to accommodate a few more orders!
