The surface is very smooth.
Sounds ‚heavy’ - not like standard ceramic DB.
There‘s a washer inside.

This project is about to be done.

I tried a few small items with UV resin. Mine worked well. My wife and daughters stuff not so much.Did you found time to try this out?
Once i made a cast with epoxy, but it was not the right product for this - too yellow‘ish.
The big advantage is the layering method.
You can place a label or whatever in between two layers of epoxy.
