Not sure if they’re “sick” but they’re nice. And I got them for a steal. Deals can be had if you’re looking and patient. Red chairs would definitely match your theme too.

Actually I got a thing for San Jose, they gave me two of my all time favourite Datsyuk highlights. The far side back hand in the playoffs (like 2010/2011’ish) and of course, the dangle on Couture ;)

How about Kenny Holland and the Wings absolutely knocking it out of the park at the draft this weekend?? We get gift wrapped Zadina (I lost my shit when he dropped to 6) and then Veleno at 30! Wow. This is all of course based on potential, but still. If you're a Wings fan, you have to be happy about the way things turned out for us at the draft......now about that defence....
I was so stoked that I bought this giant rotating Detroit Red Wing light for above my Chanman (It's huge lol 20" x 20")
(On a side note, I'm pretty lucky to have such an understanding girlfriend who supports my Red Wing/Poker love.)

Both were good pickups, but damn... We needed some defense in the first round... I'm worried about Zadina's maturity, but he does have a huge upside.

Isles not only got Whalstrom, Dobson and Trots, but probably got Tavares too with those moves.
Yeah the plan was defence all the way until Zadina dropped. Then Holland had to grab him. Pretty stoked.
Big off season for holland, need to resign Larkin, Mantha and AA. Larks will probably be long term, bridge deals for the other 2. So exciting!
 
AA is gone.

I agree that they had to take Zadina when he fell, I was just looking forward to a top notch Dama. Of course, by today's standards, that a 5'10" Swede with good hands...

I think so too. A combination of what happened last season and the need for defenceman. Good trade chip. Gus will probably be gone by the trade deadline too...

Yeah seen that. I feel like that means Gus will be the one to be traded now. Package deal to get a defenceman. (Either before the season or trade deadline)
They have around 9 mil now to sign Mantha/Larkin. Which means bridge deals.
I like the AA signing, he has a shit load to prove, I like the kid. Hope it works out.

Also read that Z's back is shot and he will go on IR for the season and/or retire, meaning his salary will not count against the cap.

If Z is done, that’d be the perfect way for him to go out (from a team/long term perspective). I love him, was everything you’d want from your captain, sick beard included, but it’s time to pass the torch.
